Wow, looks great. The only thing I saw was maybe add some details to the sand colored grenades.

I've been playing through the campaign missions but I can't play MP at the moment (probably another couple months).

Playing an SP game over...

Man, I'll second that. I even made a small mission plans package for RvSh. http://www.agr-s.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1056 -
What have people gotten as a high score for the airplane mission in arcade mode? Just curious, I've been playing that one a lot. I've found the shotgun gives you lots of points as well as using the pistol and getting headshots. I still haven't been able to complete it on veteran, there's just not enough time.

I'm a little worried about how they are going to implement land combat but I'm sure it'll be spectacular. I still wish they would do a remake of Shogun though...

Dunno if this will help but try going into the control panel, then computer management, then disk management, and see if it shows up there. Maybe it just hasn't been assigned a drive letter? Dunno...

+1 VLC I'd go with Tears of the Sun, good movie.

The World In Conflict - Whoa!
firefly2442 replied to Hatchetforce's topic in Strategy Games (RTS & TBS)
I've been playing the demo quite a bit and I wouldn't really call it a RTS game, it's more of an action game. It does get pretty chaotic and originally after I played the demo I thought that I wouldn't get it but it's growing on me. I've gotten pretty good at playing with the air units and getting enough points to call in the nuke in the skirmish battle was awesome. Dunno if I'd pay $50, but I'll wait until it gets to $30-40 before I grab it. -
Activision and Blizzard/Vivendi merger

Wow, will this make them bigger than EA? -
I took a little bit of French and Spanish in middle/high school. The funny thing was, I started with French and then moved to Spanish, but the Spanish teacher kept telling me I was speaking Spanish with a French accent. I'm sure today I would probably mix them up if I tried relearning it.

I'm hoping will bring me: -World in Conflict -Call of Duty 4 -Crysis What do you want for Christmas?

Anybody who has the game, do you know if it's possible to play the multiplayer games with bots?

I was talking to a friend recently and he told me that he found some sites that allow you to download the WoW server files and run your own private server. Is this legal? Is it an emulator or something? Is the client free too? I'm confused...

Bioshock dev: DX10 offers nothing to gameplay

Maybe OpenGL will get some improvements. -
What format is it in?

It's tracker software. Basically, when you download a .torrent file, your BT client connects to the tracker and the tracker sends back information on other people who already have the file or who are downloading it currently. Then your client is able to connect to them and start grabbing the file(s). It's nice because it often can cut down on bandwidth needs for people who want to distribute large files (for example Linux ISO distributions). And since everyone is downloading and uploading at the same time you usually get pretty good speeds as long as there are enough people.

A beta release of v0.99 has been released. http://rivetcode.com/software/rivettracker/ This version adds a lot of stuff, including HTTP seeding which is pretty sweet. If people could test it out and give me feedback that would be awesome. Thanks!

Make sure you change the default admin username+password. I've heard about a lot of people having their wireless router hosed by someone who wanted to play a trick. It's an easy enough thing to fix but still really annoying...

Dunno if this will help or not: http://www.avidemux.org

I'm trying to play through and beat the game Mission Force Cyberstorm at the moment. It's an old Windows 95 game that's turn-based and allows you to control mechs and pilots. It's similar to Mechcommander except turn-based. The cool thing is the campaign keeps on going so if you screwup one mission you just have to keep going or reload. You also get to pick your missions. For example, right now I'm trying to get through a bunch of ore collection (to make money) and destroy bases missions in order to get enough cash to buy more mechs and pilots. Anyone other turn-based mech games out th

Your thoughts on an HTML-based mod "catalog"

Maybe a Wiki site so anyone is able to contribute? (modders and users alike) -
I noticed some of the things you can pickup and also hold your gun at the same time. I tried using the item as a shield but it didn't really work. Anyone try this?
