Now that I have Command and Conquer Generals, I thought it'd be cool to make some maps. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions for some maps? For the first one, I was thinking along the lines of a huge forest with a small town in the middle. Dirt roads and small mountainy hills are all around and each of the four sides starts in a corner.

It's supposed to explode on impact.

I'm trying to change the current barret sniper rifle using the old data into a new weapon that is the same except the weapon has explosive rounds. Not huge explosions, just small ones. I got it all set up and tried it but for some reason, the round explodes about 5-10 feet away. Do I need to change something? I had to set the .gun file so that it was listed as a grenade launcher. Does that change anything? Thanks in advance.

Try Quicktime or Realplayer. Or if the codec has a player for it, (like divx) try that one.

Can't you get an emulator that would run windows so you can play GR? Or maybe have a dual partition and dual boot system so you can switch between BSD and Windows?

Just guessing but couldn't you just use the image tag and make sure that the ending is .swf ?

I've read the tutorial on modding the reticle but can you mod anything else in the heads up display? Does the size of the reticle matter? Is it possible to make it really big and so it then takes up the entire screen? Thanks.

I'd save em. My dad has a Mickey Mantle card that is very valuable from when he was a kid. Make sure you keep them in good condition. It's a good investment for the future.
