IMO, I find it disgusting that you turn on the news and people complained that the Oscars might be cancelled or delayed or so on because of the war. There are people fighting and dying and all we care about are some stupid movies. I agree that it's an important artisitic and demonstrative event for them but please don't complain about it in the news. Priorities people please.

I wonder if there are many hardcore gamers out there that play the really old games and so on. I've never played any of the pen and paper type games but I think that games in general have come a long way. If games get too out of control in terms of system requirements, they just won't sell. At least not that many copies.

Always keep backups too. Make sure that they're separate and cannot be connected to from the server as well. I'm sure it's just some punk loser.

I would think it would depend on what OS you were running as well as what other programs and things you would want to do with the computer. If it was a dedicated computer used only for hosting the FTP or Forum you don't necessarily need a high end computer. Running your favorite version of Linux and having a decent amount of memory is probably the most important thing. You won't need a high end graphics card because it won't be used much. As for the processor, I've heard of some servers running off a half gig processor and doing ok. I don't know what the server size is though...

Yes. And not once did they ever mention that they were SAS. I found it amazing that they could take that much stress and punishment from both the environment, the fighting, and then torture. I didn't understand how they got lost though... why didn't they all have the nightsight nightvision?

I just saw on the History Channel, Behind Enemy Lines: The Story of Bravo Two Zero. Wow. What an amazing story. It's amazing any of them survived out there. What do you guys know about their mission? Are there any more details that might not have been in the tv show?

Yeah, I had a tendency to shoot first and ask questions later. This resulted in a few "friendly fire" accidents and more hostage deaths than official Swat HQ would like.....

Anybody know of any good Quake 3 mods? I'd like to play some conversions where it's like CS or Military or Ghost Recon or something like that. Also, I need the mod to support bots. My internet connection sucks. No no. I know, Quake 3... I've sunken into the pit of human despair. It's fun... for about a minute... but I need some mods. Thanks for any help.
