I was wondering if anyone knows of any software that runs on Linux or FreeBSD that could use my video card and display tv footage. Similar to Hauppauge WinTV for Windows. Thanks in advance.

Interesting find. There are many differences in the two wars however. It was a Civil War, much different than a conflict thousands of miles away.

@Day - I think I saw somewhere on the forums that bots are included. You can activate them but they just stand there and don't do anything. I'll bet that they add some kind of bot support later which would be nice for us 56kers.

I don't think that would be in best interest of the US. We WANT globalization and trade with other countries and so on. Even if the UN doesn't really do anything it is a symbol of cooperation and so on. By backing out we would only be hurting ourself.

I just saw Minority Report for the second time and it's a really good movie! The whole storyline and plot is amazing. Who could think something like that up!? Plus the whole future thing is sweet. For some reason my parents hated it. They thought it was really boring.... oh well. Must be a generation thing.

It's mostly a multiplayer game. You need a broadband connection to play though. I'm waiting for the single player that they'll release later.

I'd go for building your own if you can. The only downside is there is no warranty if something goes bust. Ibuypower has good computers too. My friend got a nice one for a reasonable amount of money.

I was checking out a review, it looks pretty big. The power supply is vertical instead of horizontal I believe. Maybe that makes a difference. Not sure. Shot off an email to alienware sales so maybe they can explain it to me.

Here are the specs for a my new graduation present I wanted to build my own but my parents said that they don't want to spend all this money and have me break parts if I build it and the fact that it won't have any warranty. Drat. Well, this will be awesome... read on. I need to make sure that the computer is fast enough to last 4 years of college. The last two years I will probably have to upgrade components so I need to make sure the case and motherboard are top notch and easily expandable for the future. Tell me what you think of the specs.
