Again everthing i said wasn't about the blood. It's just a Teen rating mustly go hand in hand with arcade & no hit detection (is that a beter word for you????)
-
Im sure it's to late also, but im sure ready for a mature rating anytime soon! All these teen rated games are getting old!
Maybe the next GR the guys can make a special GR back in the 80's. Like No Arcade of any kind and bring back the old GR blood effects with a mature rating! Maybe even bring back the name of the game "Ghost" "Recon" (stealth) back also! Sorry about that even knowen i love GR im slowly starting to forget why i love it in the first place. With everything getting taken out and turning into Solcom (Arcade & Teen rating)! I still like where GR is going, but think it should be under a new name becuase it just aint GR anymore and with that Teen Rating there well always be that arcade feel in it so yes im ready for the mature rating!
The rating has no effect on how good a game will be or how strategic it will be. I would take all the first Rainbow Six games over RS3 and its blood effects any time. Did you ever think the developers did not want to have excessive blood and gore? Maybe they also want to bring new people into the franchise? Tons of extra blood adds nothing to the gameplay. All there needs to be is enough to know you shot someone. And don't even say it keeps little kids away. I ran into more kids in Halo 2 than I ever did in any other game.
Never said i wanted excessive blood or even gore. I said i like the old way of GR1 it wasn't alot just enough to know you hit! So pls dont put word in my mouth! All i ment was if they bring it to Mature we might get rid of the arcade feel and at least get it back to GR1 standers and not a Solcom wantabe arcady game as it turning out to be.

I hear you and i just have to say you can see they are bring in alillte bit of arcade in on a number of things this time around. The running is just one of the few things on my list im worried about even knowen it seems small there is much more that i don't like. Yet the running speed thing might be the only one thing on my list i can't turn off to a slow run! So it just might be the number one thing i dislike in the end??? Even knowen it's not that fast it is faster than i expect from GR.

i liked everything xcept the ai seems a little slow to react sometimes, and the night/thermal vision? I dont like.
Agreed i think that bugs me more than the diamonds! Anyways its a turn off options so im ok with it i guess.

If your fine with 1080i than everything is ok.
But if your a graphic junkie like me i see the diffrence way to much! I know its small, but its big enough and i just plain know better that im messing out when in 1080i. Like someone else here said, must people with a HDTV that has 720p knows and mostly perfer 720p when it comes to games. 1080i is fine if you don't have 720p it's much better than 480p all day. Yet Again if your happy thats all that matters right? Its a small diffrence thats true but for the untrained eye you wont even know the diffrence anyways becuase its so small and like you said, you have to get a new TV! So your more than fine in 1080i and you aint missing that much!
-
Good than my boycot is finaly working after all these years! Just playing but i love to see EA take a hit. If you must own a EA game remeber to buy it used.
-
The diffrence is the Blur. If you play fast action games (Fps, Raceing or just plain anything moven fast) than 720p is what you want becuase you get a very much cleaner sharper picture. As with 1080i you well get a much blury muddy screen. If you happen to play slow moven games than 1080i is fine, but if you plain on playing Graw you might want to switch back to 720p for the action.
Edit: Had wrong quote :Opps:

I'll tell you one thing, going form a game in 480p to 1080i is a huge leap. It's just awesome.
You should see it in 720p

-
Already have a HDTV 51" with 720p, but its afew years old and seems to be losen alittle bit of focus! Still sharp but i can tell its going anyways just today as a matter of fact i went out looking for a new HDTV in 720p for my game room so i might have two very soon!

From what i see the x360 looks alittle bit more cleaner as for the PC still has the grain look to it! If i recall though for some odd reason must the old GR fans keeped asking to keep that grain look! Why i have no idea?
But i do have to give it to the x360 still becuase the shaders just seem to go that small extra step over PC as i see from the screenies.
-
OMG LOL

Sad when it reminds you of some of your friends LOL

Emm wait did i say that out load? -
Well all the new discs are able to be played on the x360. As for the xbox1 demos on the disc you still going to need your old Xbox1 to play the demos. I haven't found a way to play the normal xbox1 demo's on the x360 yet if it can be done at all, but it well play all the videos & x360 demos with everything else, but xbox1 demo's itself on the x360. Alittle over rant there, but im sure you know what i mean i hope.
-
We just have to hope it still supports XNA features is all, but i believe it may not! GRAW might be outdated before it even gets dusty on the shelf what a shame. (I'm not complaining just SAD to see GRAW miss out)
Anyways if GRAW makes it just under XNA im sure its the last one for a console that won't be moddable. If a expansion or even GR4 comes around on a console it should in thery be moddable from here on out! As for GRAW its fling just under XNA by just a few mounths, but we can still hope somehow it still fits in there when the time comes.

Possible Microsoft Handheld?
Rumors swirl on a PSP/iPod competitor.
by Jonathan Miller
January 26, 2006 - In an effort to loosen Apple's stranglehold on the portable media device market, Microsoft may be contemplating throwing a new device into the fray; one that would most likely include gaming.
Xbox chief Peter Moore told Business Week that a new Microsoft device would most likely incorporate music, video and gaming, the latter of which the iPod doesn't support. The device, then, would also butt heads with Sony's Playstation Portable and fall into a category all its own.
"It can't just be our version of the iPod," Moore said in the interview.
The fact that Moore commented at all could indicate that the Xbox brand would be used to market the device. Back in 2004, it was rumored that Microsoft was developing a handheld called the "Xboy."
"I think the brand is an opportunity," Moore told Business Week.
Microsoft would not comment on the device and even if one is in development, but a representative did say, "Microsoft is committed to innovation." The software giant has shifted focus to increase its presence in entertainment fields, and an iPod/PSP competitor would fall in line with that shift.
Obviously a Microsoft handheld raises a lot of interesting questions. Will it be compatible with the Xbox 360 or even the Xbox? HD? Online? Again, aside from Moore's comments, Microsoft is keeping silent.
We'll keep you posted as more information on the phantom handheld device develops. You can read the Business Week story here.
I really hate hand held gameing devices, but if it does happen Microsoft is really tring everything in the book to get ahead of the game!

Im not sure about this guys myself. He is kind of way out there beyond are planet if you ask me. He believes anything that he finds undesirable needs to be Taxed. I mean come on Soda??? What else is he later going to come up with that he finds undesirable??? This guy really shouldn't be trusted worth any means if you ask me & if he ran here he would never make it and he life might be at stake. Than again Texas is diffrent, but up here he would be laughed out of the stated!
Anyways im not sure on what needs to be done here yet im really sure something in the long run well surely be done for the states all over. If i had to choose i belive they should crack down on the age thing like 21 years old and you have to go into the back room where the kids aint allowed to look at the games there. LOL
Man that just sounds to funny. If anything the price increase aint going to sovle a damn thing if you ask me the stores and parents both togther are going to have to grow up and watch what the sell the kids!

[uPDATE] Republican primary candidate wants to eliminate property taxes by heavily taxing games the government deems "violent."
Though incumbent Governor Rick Perry is almost assured to win the Republican nomination for this year's gubernatorial election in Texas, he does face three longshot challengers. One of them, Corpus Christi rancher Star Locke, has proposed eliminating property taxes in the Lone Star State with revenue from taxing three things he finds undesirable. Specifically, Locke is proposing a $10,000 per-abortion tax on medical clinics that perform abortions and a 50 percent tax on all sodas "contains added glucose, fructose, sucrose to the beverage for sale to humans."
[uPDATE] However, gamers will be especially alarmed by the third part of Locke's property-tax-relief proposal--a 100 percent tax on "violent video games." According to the candidate's official web site , the candidate would impose "The Family Security & Protection Act" when elected. Section 4 of the act calls for "levy a 100 percent of price sales cost tax for the sale on ... any video game containing any form of human violence."
"I take the position that the Founding Fathers took: that the power to tax is the power to destroy," Locke told the Amarillo Globe News. "So our concept is that we need to tax things we don't want and you want to not tax things that you want to encourage."
However, in the unlikely event he is sent to the governor's mansion, Locke would create a 10-member board that label games as violent. According to the Globe, the tax itself would be levied against the publishers of said games--and quickly. "Once it's reviewed, the tax would be levied swiftly," he said.
[uPDATE] Locke's other platform promises call for the repeal of all alcoholic beverage laws and a 50 percent "grease tax" on "upon all food prepared by deep-frying or cooking in any form of oil or grease for human consumption."

With games going up to $60 i hope it never makes it over to NY!!!! I might just have to give up on gameing altogether or start hacking on the net...
-
Oh aint that cute! Where can i get one????
-
I think it looks good and bad,
Good
The sounds in the game is really sounding sharp. The graphics are still looking very good and the draw distance on the grass at a far im very happy with (Hiding in grass might be ok now when half way acrossed the map). love to see that the Sky is alive and the world around you is lush. The bullets look like they hit hard and kill fast (Plus).
Bad
Im still alittle afraid from what i seen with the cross hairs staying very tight on a full run. Also what about the night vision when all players turn into a 100 amp light bulb or was that thremo? Last thing i noticed was when the guy was in snipe veiw you can see the cross hairs jump to the target as if it has autolock on please tell me this is a turn off option!?
There was afew more, but im not going to over whelm im really liken the game from what i see, but there is just as much good as i see bad and im really hopen that the 1001 options well take care of everything.
-
Oh yes. the one game that might drag me away from GRAW! Im more of a pilot than i am a FPS. Anyways they both come out on the same day so it's been troublen to think what one do i put in the x360 first when i get them home????

From what i seen the game itself looks good and the one thing that i been tring to get any kind of info on has been the COCKPIT VEIW. I'm also glad to hear that it does support take off's and Landings (Always a plus)! Again i know it's not a Sim game, but it does sound to mix Sim & Arcade in hopefully nice enough to make it a great game still.
Besides the Cockpit View i'm also hopen to hear that this game well also support the flight Stick thats ment to come out this summer.
-
Can't say i seen this one and they zoom in pretty close so you can see it good.
Edit
