Thanks for that Snakebite, I used the DOS command earlier to check the ip and it is the same as before, I may reset my modem however, as this has done the trick before.

Having just returned after some much needed r&r, I am having problems accessing my hotmail, webspace and also updating my virus definitions for AVG and Nortons. The general error message is saying that my browser cannot find a connection, but I am connected. Naturally, my ever suspicious mind thinks 'INFECTION', but who knows, its probably something dumb I have missed. Anyone?
