  4. I recomend you build it yourself. 3 months ago i was a complete newbie to PC building so i have read information from the internet and looked at the guide on here and asked people i know. Through these things i managed to build a computer for my parents which works fine and i am planning on building one for my self in the summer. The spec i am getting is made up of components bought from CCL Computers they are a very good company with very cheap prices. I have the advantage of being able to pic up the parts myself as i live in the city that they are based in. This is the spec im getting and the spec i recomend you get:

  5. My System be viewed by clicking the link on my sig. As you can see it should not be slow. Of my 80Gb HDD i have only used 12.4Gb.

My PC basically as of mothers day (last sunday) has been running slightly but noticeably slower and seems to be making a lot more noise wen doing things than before.

I have only had this PC 3 months so no dust build up could cause this.

I have run Ad Aware 6 with latest ref file Spyhunter v1.2.9 latest files and Norton AV 2004 with latest files. Also i have scanned it online with panda antivirus.

On top of that i can find nothing out of the ordinary in MS Config or the Windows Task manager.

Edit: The noise is from the HDD and sometimes when it is doing nothing the HDD light comes on and it churns away merrily to its self.

  9. I run 3 accounts on my PC 1 which is mine and admin and the other 2 which r limited the 2 which r limited run really slow and appear according to the task manager to always use 100% proccessor. This is cured by changing them to Admin however i really cannot trust the other users not 2 mess the system up so they have to remain limited. I have run Norton 2004 with newest updates and tried both AdAware 6 and Spy Hunter v1.1.29 both with latest updates and found nothing :wacko:
