Is an Antec SmartBlue 350W GB PSU good enough for the following system: AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 512Mb DDR 400 PC 3200 RAM Soltek SL-K8AN-RL SKT 754 Mobo 80Gb Seagate SATA HDD Lite On DVD/CDRW Combo ATI Radeon 9800Pro Sound Blaster Audigy 2 If its not could people suggest good PSU's for no more than £50 which would be if there are any.

Lets hope the PC is way better! BTW i reckon they got Disney to do the charecters and explosions from the look of them! There rubbish.

I think that the 3400 is like the over clocked clock speed i.e. the proccessor is overclocked from 2.2 to in effect 3.4. Well thats how Ive always inderstood it hence you get faster for less with AMD and hence the old problems with over heating. I aint sure tho

Seems very strange i thought that FX's were better than MX's but they wer all basically crap. It probably is that the G-Cards dnt support something that you need maybe not just DX but maybe other things. Anyway you should have NO trouble with your 9800XT cos that is an awesome card and imho a very good choice if you can afford its high price tag, which is the main reason i dont have one and Im gunna have to settle for a 9800 PRO for my new rig. Still good tho. Probably mainly cos the cost a BOMB!

Get diagnostic software from the HDD manufacturers website it will tell you if ther is anything wrong with your HDD. Im on my second maxtor 80GB and I only built my PC in feb this year. My second one now has bad sectors and my PC runs very slow despite its 2500XP processors. Mine problems tend to start with random hangs and crashes then escelate to regular ones especialy when i have Igor and GR open despite my 512 DDR 333 PC2700 RAM.

Strange try adaware 6 if it will let you if not use spy bot or what every it will allow you to use. Also run any antivirus it will let you. It sounds like a virus is had a bit ago that took my entire PC out by replaceing the file that loads windows programs with a file that Norton thought was a virus file (which it was) but was also a file i needed. Before you remove anyfile do intensive research into the virus to ensure this does not happen to you. If it is a virus liek teh one I got you can usually get specialist removers that prevent what happend to me happening. If only I'd have known
