Thanks I tried this and got the tree to scatter but the looked like they didn't follow the contour of the terrain. (Tops of trees showing through hill tops)

I've just done the tree tutorial by shiver. but I can't seem to be able to use scatter to scatter the tree on my terrain. The scatter Button is ghosted out. Any help would be appreciated as I am new to Ghost recon Mapping. Axeman.
