  1. I dont think i need help with any helper points, unless there's something to it that i dont know about. I'll model a paintball and send it to you, although i haven't been modeling the guns exactly to scale, just so that they fit in the characters hand well. So i may have to do some rescaling. I shouldnt be too far off though.
  2. Thats exactly what we wear too. I plan on making skins but I dont spend that much time doing this so it might take a while. I do have a chest protector, but its an attachment so paint doesnt show on it . I have the co2 tank modeled already, and its attached to one marker. I also have a hopper modeled. I was wondering if you could help me out with the projectile thing, and the actual physics of the gun. I know you mentioned something way back. I tried but it didnt amount to anything. If you could help I'd appreciate it, but I realize you have stuff to do too so don't be afraid to say no.
  3. Haven't done much with this for awhile. School and all. Anyway, I got a paintball magazine with an ad for the Opsgear Tippmann A5 M4 mod. It adds about 10 parts including: 10x sight, pressure sensitive laser, pressure sensitive tac light, bipod, m4 barrel grip and barrel, and more. Here is my start to that $1000 beauty.   5. I'm not sure, but what if a ton of enemies were hidden at the beginning and after a certain amount of enemies are dead, a group is unhidden. Do they still take up a lot of memory if they're hidden? If not, that could make the illusion that there's more, like reinforcements.
  6. When I render to texture, one side is dark and one side is lighter, as if it takes lighting into account. I don't have any lighting effects on that i know about. Is there a way i can get this to stop?
  7. Okay, well you have to do a startup or preaction (not sure) script, and make a platoonref called player platoon. In the response use the variable set platoon, then put player platoon in variable, and in platoon go to query, and use "the player-controlled platoon". That should be about it I think. I guess matt posted as i was typing this up.
  8. Yeah, you can do that. ProximityPlatoon- Player Platoon DisplayMessageAll- Whatever the message is DeclareMissionComplete You have to assign the player platoon and everything first though. I would take a look at a tutorial. El Oso's is good. El Oso Webpage
  9. For people with just original GR, the Red square map is fun. I made one with tons of enemies and about 30 friendlies in the huge square, with tanks, and enemies manning stationary MG's. It was too much for my old computer so I deleted it. I wish I still had it though, it would work well with my new computer. Anybody can do it in IGOR, it can be very fun.

  11. When you make an attachment, ex. body armor, will no blood fx or anything show up on it? My paintballs hit the guy, but no paint on him .
  12. I did an ah-nuld Schwarzenegger (sp) as the terminator, and got some positive feedback from that, but all it was all trial and error. Sorry I can't help a little more.
  13. no problem. Yeah I downloaded the mod and it isn't too bad, but most of the guns are all white. For some reason the textures aren't working that well.

  15. I just went to 3dretreat and there is a paintball mod for GR! SolidSnake made it. I wish I knew somebody was already starting one. Hmmm .
  16. I want to make more with the side loader so I can add sights. I've never actually seen one used before. I don't know if you noticed, but my last model wasnt too good. It was a quick 1-2 hour job. I'm not very happy with it. I think I'm going to start over. Oh well. I'm so excited to get this mod done that I'm not doing as good a job as I could . I am having trouble finding hi-res pics. I might have to take my own photos of my friends' markers.

  20. Added a DYE Red Dot sight to this model, although it doesnt belong on a vertical feed gun. I just wanted to show what it looks like.
  21. Well the terminator mod never went anywhere because I was doing it alone and I am terrible at map modding. I still have it. Basically added two new vehicles. A T-1 (if you've seen T3) and a hunter killer aircraft. The T1 is pretty good, but the hunter killer was never finished.
  22. For those of you lately who can't see my pics, it's because angelfire will only allow so much bandwidth usage. Sorry about that. I need a better host for my pics. It will be back up at about 6pm Central time.
  23. You might have to go in and edit the xml and save it to a mod folder. I had to do that with my terminator mod. I'm not at home now or I would try it.

  25. Sounds like a plan. I'll get to work on those actor files with high armor, maybe even the combat model. This should work well with capture the flag.
