Thread prolly brought on by a film. Everyone when they start playin a new games wants to try out sniper. Films always portray sniper characters as bein kool. I think its to do with the 'One Shot, One Kill' ethos. The image of being stealthy, silent, 'mysterious' and 'assasin-like' perhaps draws alot of people to the role. 'Jackson' from Saving Private Ryan or Shifty from BoB (not a sniper but a 1st grade shot) spring to mind. Readin over this I think Ive gone off on a tangent about snipers being kool but hey, they're kool..... Pot
