  1. Thank you

    I know you have questions(how this programs works or how to use) if you don't know much about computers. But try it some for yourself and then ask. It's not very hard.

    will do

    I tried it and it works :yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:

  2. Thanks

    I have no IM program, but this (see quote) sounds promising.

    QUOTE

    I've created a public FTP account for all Ghost Recon players. You can use it to store your mods in development, images, and programs. Just let me know if you are thinking of transferring more than 10MB of files on this FTP account.

    Settings:

    ftp address: ftp.ghostaholic.com

    username: public@ghostaholic.com

    password: ghostaholic

    So, when you try to get your files from the web, enter the following address in your browser: http://www.ghostaholic.com/public/your-file-name

    Contact me if there are any problems with it.

    Please elaborate. could you tell me how I do this step-by-step?

  3. In the FAQ on this site, it says that if you want to upload a mod and it is under 5mb, you can e-mail it to Rocky, but if it's over 5mb, what do you do? Would you upload it to fileplanet, and then e-mail the link to Rocky so the link can be added to the downloads section on this site? Just wondering. . . . . . . . . :help::help:

  4. Thanks guys.

    I'm surprised it's only 15mb- lots of other downloads are just too big to download w/ a 56k modem - when I downloaded the GR demo I just started the download at night and installed it the next morning!

    downloading. . . . . . . . . .now at 5% complete!! :lol: LOL :lol:

  5. I have the first new mission I've made that has worked done. it is very simple: 3 enemies & 1 hostage, since i spent most of the time on the cinematic insertion/extraction. I realize it is problaby very boring, but I want some feedback since it is my first real mission

    My real question is: where do I upload a mod to, (so that people can download it and give feedback) and how? :(:angry::(:angry:

  6. what series of the 'billboard effects' are used to make the AT4 explosion type that you can select in IGOR for projectiles/hand held objects?

    In a mod I want to replace the billboard effect textures for the AT4 explosion with the ones used as the explosion for the demolition charges (the explosions you see in mission 5 of DS after placing the demo charges)

    I've been trying to figure this out using PSP and RSB editor, but I've had no success.

    :wall::wall:NEED HELP! ! ! :wall::wall:

  7. I think the links may be bad or the server is down. . . .all my computer displays is the 'cannot find server' message. . . .and yes, I am connected to the internet (before anyone asks :) )

  8. In downloading mods, I've noticed that some mod's filenames end in ".rar". When I try to install them, windows says it can't open the file. I want to download the civil war mod from the mods section, but at fileplanet it says the filname is (mod name).rar. So , my question is, what do you do with these files to turn them into a woking mod? Is there some kind of file extactor you need to use?

    :huh::huh::huh::wall::wall::wall:

  9. I edited the Susan Grey skin for my first mod, but I have the pictures saved on my hard drive, so I can't put the pictures in since they aren't on the internet. I've discovered something interesting that can be done when editing skins. Let's say you just want to change the camo of a skin, but not the belt, bags etc. Simply select the parts you want with the selection tool in PSP, copy it to a new image, edit the camo, then copy the belt or bag back in as a new layer, then merge the layers together when you're satisfied. Now you don't have to go the the trouble of creating your own belts or bags!!!!! :):):yes::yes::lol::lol:

  10. I just realized that I've been using a rsb plugin for photoshop in Paint Shop Pro 7, and my custom skins aren't working too well. Do Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro 7 use different plugins for rsb files? If so, could someone post a link to where a rsb plugin for Paint Shop Pro 7 is in their reply???!!!! :wall:

  11. For a knife movement would negative recoil work, since the more you increase the postive recoil, the farther the weapon moves back? Would something like -500 for example cause the weapon to move forward instead of backward?

  12. Here's my Ike log. . . . . . . :wall:

  13. Ok, I'll edit a skin, run ghost recon, and then post the Ike log for you. And Yes ghost recon works fine again after I revert the edited file back to the original, but instead of a mod, I make copies of the originals, then edit one of the two identical files, which is the one ghost recon uses

    When a mod is activated, does ghost recon use the files weren't changed in the mod, meaning that you can change one thing in a mod and still use all of the unchanged files when playing?

    Thanks!!!! :)

  14. Which Ike log do you need? The one that is just Ike or the one that that says IkeCrash? Thanks for the help!! :) Here Are both reports, since I don't know which one you need. . .
