  1. Tried the cut and paste from IGOR thing and the results look quite promising although it will be a tough job thx for the help here is an example from MP05 Docks http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-3/1245.../mp05_Docks.gif
  2. Is there anyway to convert the maps so they can be opened in 3D Max? seems like the easiest way but cant find anything about it. I also was thinking about useing the mapoverview in IGOR but cant find anything to zoom out with, it seems locked. but patching a lot of them together could work combined with the generated command map (see below). atleast would work faster than patching something together from loose RGB files Generating a command map in IGOR(IT version) makes a grey map overview with a lot of detail could be usefull for adding some extra detail. no color or texture tough.
  3. Im currently retexturing the original GR and DS command maps making them fullcolor and more detailed like the IT command maps. for most of these I use the ground RSB files found in the GR Origimiss and mp1 Map folders but i noticed that some urban maps like Embassy, Vilnuis and Red Square dont have these since they mainlyexist out of roads. also maps like swamp dont have clear ground files I was wondering if it is posible to make a (screen)shot of these maps from top view (above maps) so i could use these as a commandmap overlay. does anyone know if this is posible and if so how. it would
