  1. I'd suggest trying to figure out how to free Rocky! I keep thinking he's getting hungry in there, so I try to throw nuts into the cage but for some reason they always bounce back at me!
  2. Looks like Whiteknight finally made U.S. news coverage! http://www.msnbc.com/news/902224.asp?vts=041920030225
  3. Just noticed Special Forces Movies pinned.
  4. I have only a basic knowledge of B2Z, wonder if anyone could suggest a book that depicts actual accounts of events. Or is that the controversy, Mcnabb version opposed to Ryan version version? I am tempted to purchase the movie with Sean Bean, anyone seen it, and whose version was it based on?
  5. Has anyone run accross recordable DVD disks that hold more than 120 minutes of data?
  6. There must be some gravitational force that draws you to this line of discusion. While I don't believe there are any international politicians that subscribe to this website, the people that do, are entitled to their views, right or wrong, factional, fictional, biased or unbiased. Many issues and opinions have helped me to better understand members at this site, and the world at large, in a good way. The discussions held on this forum have at times overstepped the forum's intended purpose and have distracted from forum related topics. Offenders, we all know whom we are. In general, a modicom of restaint has prevailed, sometimes at the gental persuasion of the gracious staff of this site. Weeboz, you're post is another example of the 'misuse' of the Military forum, there is a forum dedicated to suggestions and complaints. And there is also a similar point brought up in said forum, which you yourself made reconciliable comment. I agree, if there is political comment, a forum for it would be appropriate, but as stated by the Ghost Recon.net staff it is not deemed viable at the current time. This is a gamesite. On the other hand, if Rocky condoned a no holds barred political free for all forum, you would be my choice for moderator. Flaming, mudslinging free for all. Never happen mate, The Rock is from good stock, I dought he would allow people here to degenerate to such standards. If I might make a suggestion... Start a politial website. It could be interesting.... or hell, depending on your point of view. There you go, another bite. Cheers.
  7. I just heard on NBC news that the U.S. Marines happened to recover seven U.S. prisoners that had been held by the Iraqis. Check your local news sources. To me it's a relief and I hope another step closer to resolving this affair. Hopefuly they are all well dispite thier experience.
  8. Chirac has dug himself a hole, catering to the Sadam regime to ensure a post sanction/resolution role in Iraq. To add to his woes, the hole is caving in, the military action he so fervantly fought agains't accured and he has been exposed for the hypocrit he really is. How in the hell can the Arab world accept such a two faced atitude to their region? Chirac based his Iraqi involvment in the name of peace and helped sponser Sadam's govenment to enable France exclusive economic rights in Iraq, disregarding the U.N. The French have been blowing smoke up every nations ass for years now and it's time for it stop. They are no better able to conduct international policy let alone lead a United Europe. In his short time in office, Chirac has proved his worthless, deceptive, and utter contempt for the world community, and in no way different than any views bestowed the U.S. and President Bush. Chirac is taking advantage of a flawed Arab system of rule, which is worse than taking a first step in trying to correct the problem. This only demonstrates the blindness of the Arab world, and it's inabuility to see the corrupt leadership that has keep them in oppression, not to mention the blindness of the French public. France has kept alive false hope for the Mideast by supporting corrupt and antiquicated rule. It is their economic goals that undermine mideast peace and support a lawless region. Chirac belongs on the Iraqi top 55 most wanted.
  9. lol Did'nt recocognize the the picture, yes Anna is a babe.
  10. Right on Z ! Cool pics. Looks painful. RatPatrol, er, well, no. Who is it?
  11. Yes, it does. Thank you.
  12. Good point, thats why there are trade deficits. love that avitar.
  13. THis debt will stand under any Iraqi government - that is the standard in international law. France and Russia certainly had less chance of collecting their money from the crippled Saddam regime than they would from a prosperous post-reconstruction nation. Therefore they had nothing to gain in this realm from propping up Saddam's govt. I heard a televised report state that Iraq was in debt up to 24 bil. give or take. In light of current events, it would seem to me that France and Co. would have come out ahead had they maintained the're original position and continued illegal sales and Iraq paid them. It only makes sense, but now the irony is that, it is estimated that a 300bil. price tag is proposed to cover the reconstruction of Iraq. To cover the're behinds, France and Co. will be rallying the world community to help pick up the tab to help cut the losses. This only displays to me that Fance and Co. sold out the rest of the world. What happened to the report of missles tipped with VX warheads?
  14. The issue of a weapons grade plutonium or not is a major concern to the world. I find it hard to concieve inspectors would dismiss low grade plutonium as irrelevant, in light of 'dirty bomb' threats in the west. Saddam may have not utilized this tactic, but the concern of this stuff being funneled to radicals who have no resevation to such methods of deployment is disturbing to say the least.
  15. Yes, you are right Budgie, but I'm thinking theres still more shooting to edure. In reflection of the majority of the French population endorsing Chirac's stand on this issue, how will they react to a leader that has done a 180 degree turn on his origional stance. I could be missing some key points, but I feel Chirac did one hell of a job of bamboozaling the French public.
  16. I know I saw a topic that described how to post pictures on the site but can't find it currently. Can anyone refresh my memory? (that smilie is too cool)
  17. Yeah, but what about the poor goats?
  18. Could have sworn I saw the figure four leglock being applied. Nothing like a good ol fashion Smackdown Zantar. RatPatrol, I'm in love. Nice avitar.
  19. I just pick up on this now on a news report. Saddam has survived , and has been aledgedly requesting asylum at a Russian embasy. True or false, Not sure yet. If true, and Russia complies, how do you think the world will perceive Russia, considering their past conduct in Iraqi affairs? Will it matter if Saddam survives or not? Maybe he should survive, if for nothing other than to prevent another false Arabic martyr
  20. I second that " Semper Fi" Chesty Puller, where for art thou?
  21. Taken into account the instability of the Mideast through the last 60 years of the 20th century, I have seen on this thread a centralize focus of issues of just the last 20 years. And at times focusing on individual people involved. Never on the world community that has had the final impact on the region's current predicament. Yes, points have been brought up in accusation to regional policy, but where was the "world" to contradict such perspective? The world should be held accountable, not one or two countries. Hipocracy abounds, finger pointing abounds. Ask yourself what could be accomplished, not who is to blame. This could be a mission of futility, or it could be a first step to empowering the common people of the mideast. Not warlords, not terrorists, not despots, not religious sects, the common people. I don't intentend to try and paint a pretty picture, but my point was to try to make one think ahead and try to perceive a new future for the mideast and try to figure out what steps to take. What would you do?
  22. I would'nt be suprised that he survives all this. After his first taste of U.S. iron, he has probably retired to his expensive bunker system. Meanwhile, urging people to die in his name.
  23. Pretty proud of yourself weeb? Step all over a topic and then to ad insult to injury, you insult everyone involved by claiming you forgot the subject matter.

    Political Forum

Pyro, that was along my train of thought also. Refraining from political comment would be the ideal approach, but then there is always that 2%. Magnum, I was'nt looking for a politcal forum, thats why I'm here. By the way, I heard the Vicar say Puddle of Feces was "rightious"
  25. I have to think it happened. Catnip will make a cat do some strange things.
