SOTOPhantm, Thanks for the instructions. Worked like a charm! Only one part has me confused: You say to create a new restore point after I edit the registry. What does that mean and/or how do I do it? I'm afraid to shutdown, worried that I might really jack something up. Any help is welcome. Thanks again! dan

My system froze while installing GR on my Win 98 P3. Plenty of disc space available. Being unable to uninstall the normal way, I found the article on this site with special instructions for such a case. Problem is, I couldn't find over half the directories it was telling me to delete. It said to look for a directory "Installshield Installation Information" right on the C: drive, but it wasnt there. There was one with UNinstall information, but it didn't have the file I was needing. Also it said to delete certain "reg keys" etc, but I have no idea what they are or where to look for th
