Yeah, sometimes I've been fortunate that a shot to the hand would eliminate the threat. However, I would like to see it sorta as in Medal of Honor. If I were to shoot him in the leg, it would bring him to the ground, losing his weapon and rendering him helpless, if I were not to shoot him, he would make a desperate attempt to grab a gun and kill me. If I were to shoot him in the arm, he would lose his weapon, giving me a chance to kill him. I have to agree though, that one shot to the hand should not prove fatal to a baddie, when a shot to a gut doesn't always do the job.

Ya, GR.net is addictive...I'll give ya that one...I think its pretty sad that someone would be so distraught over a ban, start giving hate mail, and change his name many times to get back on this forum. One has to realize they did something unacceptable and has to pay the consequences. Don't retaliate and exacerbate the situation, then become a topic of negative discussion on this forum...

I never knew there was a real problem between him and Gr.net, I just knew he took some time "off" and then never came back except once or twice that I saw.

I currently have a 40 GB that is gettin filled up pretty fast, I'm lookin at another 60 GB HD that will only cost about 60 bucks after a mail in rebate. I'm gonna Raid cause not too long ago a friend of mine put together a monster comp and had two HD hooked up in a Raid configuration, and the load times were amazing and performance of his games actually benefitted, so I thought I would do the same. I'm actually upgrading my mobo as well and will just get one with an onboard Raid possibly...I'm don't have a great understanding of all this but my friend is helpin me out...

Anyone see the new Cadillac concept car..."Sixteen" I think it is called for its V16 engine. It was introduced a week or so ago in Detroit...Wouldn't mind driving that monster down the street, too bad I don't have a quarter million bucks in my pocket. Otherwise, Acura RSX is the car I'm shootin for in a few years.

One that always seems to occur is on m07 of DS. When killing the gunner behind the "castle" he falls on top of the dune. However, he is not lying on the ground, but he actually appears to be levitating. I'm sure others have seen it, it always happens in my games

I would really like to see that, when not participating in tactics and strategies yourself, it is always great to watch them unfold from a observer standpoint...

Rocky had over 4000 posts before but he was always listed as Admin instead of Ghost. Regular member, not consultants or staff, that made ghost were snakebite, hotpants, and one other. However, I do not remember if they made 1st class.

What type of work do they do on it? If its e-mail and typing documents type work, you probably won't need a high end Dell, but somethin that will last them as long as you've said. Maybe like 1.5 Ghz with 256 DDR or somethin of the like. Reasonably priced Dells I think come with either a 32 or 64 mb vid card either ATI 7500 or somethin of the like...Try their website and have your parents take a look at the choices. Just depends on what they wanna pay...Dells are pretty reliable comps though that should last em.

Out of all the voice comms, I think teamspeak takes up the lowest bandwidth...It has proved reliable for those with 56k. I don't think your friend would have a prob...It is much better than R.W. IMO and I'm sure many would agree...
