  1. Here's my problem, I would ask Para, but he's gone now so its up to you guys to try to help out: I used his guide when redoing the basic M16. I found all of the values, but one of them I don't think is right, the Dc2. Based on Para's advising I used 1435 as the damage of the gun, 0.41067789 as the Dc1, and 3116.7979 as the velocity of the weapon. (All of the data such as velocity and foot lbs. of energy have been obtained and verified from reliable sources such as Jane's) To do the equation I did 1435-(0.41067789 x 3116.7979) = 145. Then I divided 145 by 3116.7979^2. The answer I get is = 0.0000149. To me that is a very small number and nothing like what I have seen some other people have for Dc1. So I put in all my data regardless of the possibly wrong Dc2 and when I go to test everything out, I can shoot my riflemen multiple times at point-blank range with an M16 and all they do is flinch, no wound or anything. What's wrong here?? Please help. One more thing, my combat model numbers are listed below. <CombatModelFile> <VersionNumber>5.000000</VersionNumber> <BallisticHeadFactor>1</BallisticHeadFactor> <BallisticChestFactor>100</BallisticChestFactor> <BallisticArmoredChestFactor0>0.00</BallisticArmoredChestFactor0> <BallisticArmoredChestFactor1>300</BallisticArmoredChestFactor1> <BallisticArmoredChestFactor2>750</BallisticArmoredChestFactor2> <BallisticArmoredChestFactor3>1200</BallisticArmoredChestFactor3> <BallisticAbdomenFactor>530</BallisticAbdomenFactor> <BallisticUpperArmFactor>600</BallisticUpperArmFactor> <BallisticLowerArmFactor>1000</BallisticLowerArmFactor> <BallisticUpperLegFactor>400</BallisticUpperLegFactor> <BallisticLowerLegFactor>900</BallisticLowerLegFactor> </CombatModelFile>
  2. Question primarily for Para- when entering the velocity value for V0 (mV), is that in m/s or ft/s. Then in the following equations for V1, V2, D0, D1, is the velocity in ft/s or m/s? I'm confused, it seem to go from the metric system in one part to the british/american in others.
  3. I'm a bit confused on what some of the values in IGOR and the .gun files mean. First what are the velocity coefficients? The first number I think is the initial velocity (in m/s) and the second I have no clue, it's some sort of negative number I see. Then there is something called X Range, 2 boxes for that, again no clue. Kill energy, I think I might know what that is. Is the energy of the round or something at a certain distance (in joules)?? Correct me if I'm wrong. Recoil- what unit of measure does that use? Stabilization time- is this how long it takes for the reticule to get to the center?? Accuracy- What unit of measure is that? And finally- What the heck are Turn Bands? Velocity and multiplier?? Thanks a lot, I trying to adjust all of these guns so it can be more realistic.

  5. May I ask which one of those textures in there are the actual blood textures? Do they have some special label or anything?
  6. Is there a way to get the blood and hit effects when you hit someone that are in GRM4, but bring them into Droopy's Realism Mod? I want the blood of GRM4 (but without all those weapons that are not so realistic) in Droopy's Realism Mod (with the most accurate ballistics and gun data I've seen so far). I tried activating both mods with Droopy's as priority, but it doesn't seem to work. Are there some texture files or something I can copy and paste or is there a blood mod out there I can use? Thanks!
