  1. PLEASE WEAR A POPPY "Please wear a poppy," the lady said And held one forth, but I shook my head. Then I stopped and watched as she offered them there, And her face was old and lined with care; But beneath the scars the years had made There remained a smile that refused to fade. A boy came whistling down the street, Bouncing along on care-free feet. His smile was full of joy and fun,
  2. Excellent work Chavez. Certainly makes 'Firefights' hard and causes teams to use co-op instead of run & gun.
  3. I believe that the Swiss have not used that camo since the mid 90's. They have a woodland type pattern now very similar to those in Darkgivers mod. his ones seemed a little too dark.
  4. I think this one is destined for the 'stan mod.
  5. They'll be people wanting bottles of 'health' laying around the map next
  6. Wolfsong has a great AT-4 in his "King and Country" mod. Or should I say superb AT-4.
  7. If you can't get it mate I'll put it up on the 151 site and you can d/l from there. Let me know and I'll send you the link.
  8. Never been a TL in an Alpha or BAD co-op mission have you Budgie?
  9. You manage all this mate and I'll have a word with Mrs Windsor (HM Queen) about getting you a knighthood! Great work. I may even take back all I said about you and your mines
  10. The trouble with this type of thread is the fact that it is pure hypothesis. Most of the posts are basing their opinion on a TV documentary they saw or an adventure book they read. Added to that is the nationalism and or patriotism of the writer. Either of those two can blinker the best of men or women.
  11. Shuffle Button : When you are moving press the Alt key at the same time. This slows your move rate but makes you quieter and keeps the reticle pips close. Think of it as the 'sneaky key'
  12. Two good friends of mine were jumped by the local heroes in an underpass. Our guys gave a good account of themselves until the local police turned up and arrested the lot of them. All were found guilty. The two soldiers were thrown out of the Army, career over, and the local pond life got a fine! And they wonder why we get bitter!
  13. Excellent work Chems. Looking forward to this one. Nice to see something something without made in the USA or Sweden on it
  14. Soup its been this way since man first formed an army. When peace comes they won't even want you in the same bar. Was ever thus my friend.
  15. 1. Approx 18 months 2. Approx 10 hours a week
  16. This is a nice thread. This way you can out find out who the spawn campers are and avoid them in games
  17. "nade spammer" is normally someone that just sits and fires grenades from, usually, an OICW. They normally have a collection of team kills because they do not bother or care where the grenades are going. Another give away is the "I'm elite" or variant message they keep typing on screen. They are about as popular as a hornet in your underwear.
  18. I agree, after all I believe it was the Duke of Wellington that said "the cavalry is only there to bring class to a bloody brawl"
  19. This is a good place to start your search into the various Regts of the Army. http://www.army.mod.uk/
  20. @RS: It was a combat zone mate, be serious, the scarf was DPM. @Zebb: I see you and the jarhead have joined forces. Which one are you? Beavis or ............................. @Mamon: First up I apologise for hijacking your thread. The headgear of the British Army is worth a book on its own. Each individual Regt has its own, distinctive badge (or motto in my case), there is also a wide variation in beret colours plus, as Argyll says, the Scots wear Tam O'Shanters or Glengarrys. If you are doing a skin wearing other than a helmet you are going to have to get specific on which R
  21. Never write the Jocks off! And thats from an Englishman!
  22. Soup you not got some crayons and paper? It'll be easier for the old jarhead if you use pictures. Use bright colours to keep his attention. <One down. I'll move on to that old drop short Zebb next, muhahahaha!>
