Well there are now 2 more patches for PF
first is the 3.02_common which must be installed for either the stand alone or merged install.
you can find it here.
http://www.flying-legends.net/php/updates/download.php?id=13
With this first patch you must direct the path on install.
then there is the sencond part of the patch one for the stand alone.
http://www.flying-legends.net/php/updates/download.php?id=12
and the one for the merged version
http://www.flying-legends.net/php/updates/download.php?id=11
both the common and 3.02b/3.02bm (depending on version) must be installed for the game to work.
By the way what are you Hyper lobby names so I might be able to look you guys up.

Hey slink PM me some info so a CD can be on its way
-
Well slink if I had a addy I could send you the files needed.
To answer a few questions from a couple of other treads
Pacific fighters will be a add-on to AEP or stand alone
Online campaings well there are several
you have FB gen which is played mainly through Hyperlobby of which it is host decision on setting for it.
There are also several Online wars going right now.
VEF Virtual Eastern Front moving into Crimea 44
http://212.114.14.253/index1.php
Forum for VEF is located here
VWF Virtual Western front
http://western.virtual-front.no/
forum for VWF here
http://forum.virtual-front.no/
and Bellum Wars
most players are involved in all 3 wars.
Myself I have been only doing VWF for the time being.
FB gen which is included into AEP was made by a man called Starshoy which is were all 3 online wars also came from.
It started out as Starshoy doing VEF 1 then moving to VEf2 which is still going he then got involved in other projects (namely pacific fighters)
A few good programers asked him for the coding to begin there own online wars. Starshoy has helped them in some areas but they have created good fair wars that are mission based points are given on what you do in each mission.
You also gain ranks for staying alive in missions.
Short answer to online campaigns being fun I say yes.
also for you Slink don't worry bout being on dial up I have one member of the IL2 community that is also on dial up and in australia that plays on games I host without a problem

I agree with that one I have already been on the hunt for it here on the west coast. Vef will also be using the expansion pack.
with the expansion the creator of VEF is also looking at making a western front which would be know as VWF I can then start flying the P-38 for those missions.

I probably would not have gotten into this Game had it not been for the work done by starshoy making Virtual Eastern Front "VEF"
This is a online War base on historical plane sets and movemt of the Eastern front of WWII
Right now we are in Nov. 1942 playing winter of Stalingrad.
There is a expansion of Forgotten Battles due out in the first part of March. At that time we will be switching to Kuban 1943. Most of the BOA are now Flying in VEF.
VEF is based on missions each side Russians "VVS" and Germans "OKL" each have objectives to follow in each mission. Every mission is different. You can gain ranks,Medals and points after you are a registered pilot of VEF. You can get points in every mission. But to Gain ranks you must stay alive and gain points in a current record. Here are a few links to some of the websites used and forums for VEF and forgotten Battles.

This is the stats page of the BOA
http://66.114.65.249/vov/index1.php
this is wwere alot of the missions are hosted from
http://66.114.65.249/vov/site/main.htm
the Main page of VEF for your FAQ's
http://www.netwings.org/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi
Forums for alot of flight simms and special sections just for VEF
Were to get Hyper Lobby were we fly missions out of and were most of the dedicated servers are
One other thing, here are the main requirements for IL-2 Forgotten Battles
1.4ghz cpu
256meg DDR ram
64 meg vid card
and system specs for hosting are
2.0ghz cpu
768mb DDR ram
10kb upload speed per pilot in mission
I think that is what I can think of for now.

Well Just found from another thread here I went to the web site listed and found that you can pre order GR 2 for the PC.
ETA release is June 04
here is the link showing GR2 on bottom of the list
http://www.chipsbits.com/cgi-bin/order.cbi...s/pc_games.html
you will need to scroll through to Ghost recon. It wouldn't let me give the direct link.
Use the search on the left side

when you registered did you recieve a confirmation E-mail in order to activate your account. That may be the reason you cannot log in

The ONLY good mood I have ever seen is Frostbite - I would actually gladly have paid for that one, since it is just as good as Desert Siege and Island Thunder expansions.
Very well put enforcement.
As far as your remark of frosbite you will find that it also had its fair share of bugs and was patched 3 times since it was released. And on another note with frosbite alot of harntrox's and the rest of the =DRAG= modworks team was included in frostbite from HX4.
You say that HX5 is full of bugs then you might want to check the offical site for possible info on work arounds and the offical support forum for reporting these bugs. you will find both at Dragmods.org

This problem has been talked about in this thread.

That should answer the question for you.

On the first 6 missions that do not allow Respawn it is suggested that you use AI back up. That way you can transfer into the AI bodies if you get killed that is the only way I know of having any type of respawn on those missions.
while in game using the AI back up you can transfer into the AI body while still being alive using the page up and down keys so that you have a better view in the Helo's Hope that helps.

Well I have had the pleasure to be in on this from beta1. I have seen this mod come a long way from then to now. Its been a pleasure working with all that have been involved in making such a wonderful mod for the GR community. I have not experienced any problems with the final version of the mod.

A great thanks needs to go out to =DRAG= Mod works and all others that have assisted in the work and completion of what I would call a new expansion for GR.S!

Yes you did hear of new maps there are several. They are quite a combination of maps. Very difficult to choice what weapon would be the best to take. As there are areas of each map that could be sniper but then again you might want a machine gun for the more close quarters on the same map. Well I think I will be quiet now. To all that have worked on this Awesome work.

Raven that was cruel.
I have had the pleasure of being able to help test this absolutely awesome mod. The things that Harn have done with this mod are unbelievable. Great maps, weapons, and OMG the missions.
This mod is well worth the wait.
