I installed Frostbite, installed patch and tried to launch...received an launch error...tried several times therafter...uninstalled and installed again...same problem...uninstalled and rebooted..tried to launch GR and now it too won't launch.....what happened???? How do I resolve.....besides re installing GR???? :wall:

  2. WOW!!! :o WHAT great feedback!!! I suppose I will have to walk through the game and see what does and does not work....I was under the impression one would have to walk up to a dead guard and point the crosshairs of the pistol onto the body/weapon and hit the space bar...seems like it would be a natural process to obtain a weapon.....But as I have read from the feedback there seems to be a few possibilities as to what/which guards one can obtain weapons from.....Once again thanks for the great feedback..just unbelievable!!!! Thanks SilentNight, Giwex, MOB, Zantar45, Swarm and [5R] Magic!!! :D

    P.S. I will [FYI] let you know WHAT DID work and post it here....in case anyone is interested for future reference etc.

  3. I have taken a passage from the Brothers In Arms Readme file :

    "In mission 1 when you 'pick up' a new weapon sometimes your kit icon may not change accordingly."

    Can anyone translate "pick up"... I was under the impression when you start off in the game (as the Rebels) you only have handguns but have the opportunity to "pick up" weapons off a dead Ghost.

    Can anyone clarify? <_<

  4. yes I have Island Thunder. But Island Thunder is not required to run FREE Libya...says so in the FAQ....However, I believe the version for Free Libya that I have is 1.4. There are two Ikes in my file..which one should I cut and paste?? Ike crash (I believe this is the one you need) and one just named Ike...For now I will post both...until I learn which one to send....the first one will be IKE CRASH followed by IKE.....

  6. I have the mod Free Libya and everytime I try to play it crashes back to my desktop. I have it activated along with Desert Seige and have the 1.4 patch....I visited the web site and read the FAQ...Tells me that I need what I already have.....DS activated and patch 1.4.....still crashes :wall:

I have noticed that some mods stating that patch 1.3 is needed to run a particular mod....do I need patch 1.3 or am I ok? :-"

Ha Ha I loved the accusation of using a crack :-" ..that's exactly what I am using...I have seen the gold edition for about 30 bucks, so without all the sweat and tears I will open thy wallet and proceed to help increase Ubi Soft's earnings!!!
