  1. Very Funny. Very Funny Indeed!

    Mise is:

Hark! Who is that, sprinting amidst the tundra! It is Yorkshire Sniper, hands clutching an oversized scalpel! He roars thunderously:

"I'm going to beat you in such an unsafe manner, your pets won't recognize you!!!"

  2. The RAF is getting Both the Eurofighter And the JSF. the Eurofighter is to replace the Tornado F-3 ADV, and the JSF to Replace the Tornado GR. Mk1. Mk1A and GR Mk.4. And it is also rumored to be getting the STO/VL version (the One used by the USMC) as areplacement for the Harrier. the Royal Navy is getting this version and new carriers to operate them from.

  3. Thank God Its being replaced. The G-36 is a far better weapon. The SA-80 should never have been brought into service, the SLR it replaced was a fool-proof weapon that, although fired the 7.62mm round and was longer, could be used in all conditions and environments. The MOD got caught up in "The Bullup Wave" that created the Steyer AUG and the FAMAS and thought that it had better create its own bullup weapon to fit in with current trends. the only advantage of the bullup design is its easier to handle in CQB or urban combat situations.

The massive upgrade the MOD implicated for the SA-80 fell short of the margin by a long shot. having fired the weapon both before and after the upgrade their is little difference it the weapons handling and dust protection, the main gripes about the Mk. 1 On the Other hand the G-36 is a far better engineered weapon and will be a valuable addition to the British Army.

  4. The XM-8 sounds too high tech for the battlefield. unless its really rugged and well made the ballistics computer could be fried really easy. a stray bullet, ,a drop of moisture or a really rough combat drop could screw up the inertial ballistics system or the impact fusing portion of the fire control computer. making the Gremade Launcher portion of the waepon dangerous to use as the fire control computer could tell the projectile to detonate 2 feet away, or even worse in the breech and take the weapon, and the man with it.
