  1. It's a problem UBB seems to have with trailing commas. Add a comma to the end of the URL to get the actual page.
  2. There are a few conversions that have to be done to the IT directories and files; the primary tutorial on installing IT for Mac is here,, while general Mac mod info is here,. N.B.: UBB mangles the URLs for GameSpy; clicking on either of the above links gives a 404. Add a comma (',') to the end of the URL to get to the page.

From a Mac perspective, Netfone is a near-perfect choice -- OSX-native, capable of recognizing any system audio I/O device (it had no problems with a Logitech USB headset, which was necessary for my particular desktop rev), throttled bandwidth requirements, and a remarkably low CPU footprint given that it's doing real-time encryption.   4. Although I haven't tried it yet, I've read that RW suffers from problems when running in Classic while playing an OSX-native game. GameSpy has suggested that they'll do a MacOS X port of RW if interest exists. Haxial's NetFone is supposedly a solid product for cross-platform voice, although its bandwidth and CPU requirements are somewhat greater than RW. The main issue is that it's peer-to-peer only, but the next major release should include an RW-like client-server feature. We'll try it tonight and see what happens.
