Only weapons forged in the fires of Mount Rushmore can slay the terrorist hordes.

Disturbia.

Goddamned if that isn't the most awesome gameplay I have ever seen. It makes me sad to know that I will probably never play this game until the day PS3s cost £50.

Jeez guys, there would have been less of this pointless debate about the name if they'd just called it SECRET TACTICAL DELTA FORCE SQUAD ZERO NINER.

A person with principles refused to do their job because they disagree with the service people want them to provide?
She's getting paid more than any of you so she can openly refuse to do what her bosses tell her (and most people want)?
That's cool, I guess
Yeah.
Sure, most of us couldn't care less about Paris Hilton, but alot of people do. This woman makes more in a week to read this stuff than the people who actually research it and put it on her teleprompter make in a year. Her job is to read whatever the hell she is told.
We don't need more people like her reading the news. We need more people like her running the media companies. Unforunately if that were the case, they'd all go bankrupt. It would be fantastic if we didn't have to read and watch this stuff every day, but that isn't her call. It's ours.

If you switch off your brain and ignore all the gaping plot holes and general idiocy of the script, it is an awesome movie.

Contracts took only 8 months to make. I think it was supposed to fill the gap between Silent Assassin and Blood Money.
It showed. The ending was a complete Pirates of the Caribbean 2 cop out. It was basically "Buy the sequel if you want to see what happens next!" Most of the missions were terrible, too.
I think Vin Diesel would really have worked for 47, had he lost a bit of weight.
-
See, this is exactly why blood money was an awesome game.
Wait wait wait... this happens in Blood Money? I have to get this game now. I stopped at Contracts because it was so bad.
1.They should pick more badass lookin guy. IMO main actor here looks like a child.
2.Too much explosions&hollywood crap inside(at least in trailer).
3.With that woman he looks like a pimp. Women always destroy story in such movies tongue.gif . Instead he should be coldblooded badass ###### without feelings.
I agree. Timothy Olyphant is a terrible choice for 47. I would have accepted Vin Diesel or Nic Cage over this guy. And yes; explosions = lame in this sort of movie. Also, yeah, women ruin most movies. This isn't a comment against women, this is a criticism of screenwriters. Most, if not all screenwriters are men, and most men haven't got the faintest idea of how to write female characters. When they try, they end up ruining the movie/programme.
EDIT: I edited this several times because I am drunk. Carry on.

Try it. You'd make more noise than you would by simply stepping past the doorway.

Any movie in which the protagonist points two pistols in both directions down a hallway is doomed to fail.
That said, if the whole movie was just 47 walking around and shooting guys while Ave Maria played, it might not be bad.

Sure. How do you think these agencies get intel? They send in guys in black spandex who spend half their time in air vents and doing the splits in alleyways.

LOL, I love that line too - it's one of the best to come out of those idiots in the regulators office.
My favourite was in The Da Vinci Code, which contained flagellation.

Does the film contain mild peril? If it contains mild peril then I think I had better sit this one out.

eville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City…and maybe the world.... He is surrounded by “the Infectedâ€â€”victims of the plague who have mutated into carnivorous beings who can only exist in the dark and who will devour or infect anyone or anything in their path.
So basically this is a remake of 28 Days Later.

Shot in the dark here, and a note that the no politics rule may fall heavy on this thread...
Science makes it possible to find disease.
Socio-politics is not a science, and it's tasked with first defining and then identifying those who would be considered terrorists.
Bovine spongiform encephalopathy is a demonstrable fact. We can give it a definition, a scientific method proof of existence. Not the same for terrorism or terrorists.
Basically, one is a thing, the other is a concept. Your terrorist is someone else's freedom fighter. A BSE infected cow is a BSE infected cow. mellow.gif
Plus... you know... the cows aren't hiding in caves.

Jason O'Campo's reviews at Gamespot are spot off when it comes to the shooter Genre. He gave vegas a 8.9 for crying our loud and lockdown an 8.0 !!!. I would easily give GRAW v1.35 an 8.5
Plus, you know, the guy thinks you can 'get lost' on the original GR maps.
Sometimes I wonder if anyone actually played GR.

YEAH M8 LOL WHY AR U POSTING DAT LOL

They can do whatever the hell they want with it. It's stupid, yeah, but I'm more annoyed over the fact that I have never once had the option of watching a movie as cool as Casino Royale on a flight. It's always The Whole Ten Yards or some crap.

This is one of the reasons why Codemasters using their own engine should be a big plus. It also has the potential to eliminate several annoyances present in BIS engine, including AI, movement and CQB issues.

DISCLAIMER: PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT A COMIC BOOK NERD AND ONLY KNOW THE FOLLOWING DETAILS DUE TO READING A DISCUSSION ON ANOTHER FORUM
I was talking to a comic book fanatic friend of mine and he said that this is all misleading as Captain America didn't die, but was just hit in the shoulder by a sniper and the reader was lead to believe he died. What do I know? *shrugs*Joe Quesada, who is head of Marvel or something, confirmed in an interview that Ms. Marvel was trying to stop Spiderwoman (Spiderwoman? What?) from doing something, so she told her Cap wasn't actually dead. He is, though.
Also, The Punisher picked up Cap's cowl right after he surrendered to Iron Man at the end of the Civil War story, so maybe they'll go with that.
Plus I hear Captain America already died once anyway, so he'll probably be back.

Sam Fisher is a hack.

Crap. I was going to go out and buy the previous Special Edition DVD today. Now I've got to wait until April.

Armed Assault: Combat Operations
So... there's shooting in this game, right?
Green Berets Accused of Murder?

Pardon me, but you seem like you're confusing civilian laws with military laws, notably the Rules of Engagement.
Soldiers are not the police. Yeah, they can't just go around shooting civilians who look at them cross-eyed. But this guy was on a High Value Target list. He was on it for a reason. Depending on the SF team's ROE, they may not have been obligated to capture him.
Killing the guy on the spot (read: after being led to him by a native and confirming his ID twice before engaging) may not be palatable, but the legality of the killing depends on the team's particular ROE. Judging by their actions, they must have felt they were working within the confines of their ROE when they took the guy out. Nobody can say for sure that what they did was wrong unless they have seen these guys' ROE for the list.
It's a murky issue, and obviously someone back at Ft. Bragg felt the ROE were murky enough to investigate. It's not cut and dry. They didn't shoot him in the back of the head while he was on the ground with his hands cuffed.
