  1. Yeah, but look at the other screens. You aren't seeing the actual characters. Mitchell is shown as a blue circle and your team mates are shown as blue diamonds, whether you should be able to see them or not. Perhaps the map is zoomed out too far, or in this particular build the characters are not shown.
  2. Or maybe they're actually on the roof. The diamonds seem to be on a flat area behind a billboard or something.
  3. "Ghost Recon Classic has 0 friends." I'd get on to fixing that.
  4. Hahaha. Dude... Bo is going to kick your ass if he ever sees you online.
  5. Man that shot in the chopper is awesome. The movement of the gunner is so fluid, as is the lighting and... everything else.
  6. The man speaks the truth, I'm at 160 now. That is cool as long as nobody else steals my bandwidth.
  7. Posting my transfer rate is all I have to occupy myself with for the next 11 minutes
  8. Okay Can you guys do me a favour - everyone STOP downloading until mine is done. Thanks.
  9. You lose! EDIT as soon as I said that it went down to 16.9
  10. I did wonder why the camera person wasn't helping.
  11. Well actually I just turned on the PC and everything is fine. Apparently all it needed was a restart. But now I have new spyware problems.
  12. Thanks but I tried that earlier, no go. I also tried going through all of the options where you can 'allow' stuff from certain sites and added ghostrecon.net, but nothing worked there either.
  13. After doing some spyware and cleanup maintenance today, I am having trouble viewing certain webpages with their proper formatting. Some sites are fine, but others such as the GR.net forums just have no formatting whatsoever, just a few of the icons and such. Before it happened, I used the program CleanUp! to free up some space, so perhaps it deleted some cookies or something like that. However I have used this program twice before and nothing like this happened. I also had this problem once when I tried out Opera, so I just got rid of it at that time. As I say, it only happens wit
  14. After playing in GRAW for a while, ported GR maps will feel miniscule, unless they are expanded upon to be anywhere near as large as the GRAW environments.
  15. You're probably right. I have never owned a Collectors' Edition of any game, so I am blissfully ignorant.
  16. Well, have you been interviewed by any film crews in the past year? If not, it would be a pretty pathetic Collectors' Edition.
  17. I suggest everyone does the following; Get out of your chair, run (or walk quickly) for a few steps and then act like you are throwing a grenade. I guarantee you that your natural reflex is to stop when you initiate the throw. Of course now that you've read this you will make a conscious effort to continue moving, but that just feels unnatural.
  18. Well, GR didn't need such effects because most missions only took about thirty minutes at the very most, and that is if you were being extra careful. We are all aware by now that the missions in GRAW take up to two hours. If this is the case, surely starting a mission at early evening or at dawn would call for a light transition?
  19. I personally hope that you can hit things decently while on the move, at least when walking. It always annoyed me in GR that you couldn't hit anything over twenty feet away while walking, and when running - forget it. Now, I'm just a guy who plays games, but I'm pretty sure trained soldiers - particularly experienced SF soldiers - can hit things while moving.
  20. I believe Bo said earlier that these effects would not be in GRAW due to the average engagement range.
  21. Speaking of which, I would like to know if GRAW will incorporate the deflection you sometimes got in GR when you shot someone. i.e, a round enters through a guy's back and exits through his side. This caused some concern when, for example, you shot a guy in the foot and it killed him (sometimes because the round deflected and hit him somewhere more serious). However I always found it very amusing the few times I shot one member of a patrol in the back and the round exited his side, hitting his buddy who was standing next to him. It's no big deal if it isn't in there, just wondering.
  22. Well if it was in multiplayer it would be in single player too. And I was talking about single player.
