  1. Thank you all for your help. After I de-,re-installed about every driver, now the german ubi-soft-support mailed me that I should send my GR-cd-rom to them. I hope they send me a working version back I'll be back and I hope not at technical support goetz
  2. @WhiteKnight77: downloaded the new nvidia driver for the mainboard where sounddriver should be included. but GR is still crashing with this eax-register error. @FritzDaKat: I liked to take the help from the ubi.com (the link you posted) but they have the support in this case only for us and canada. edited: oops, I didnt read everything on the support site, now I mailed the prob to ubi.com, see what they can do goetz
  3. there's no option.xml file in any folder of GR. I looked for the eax- or general sound- settings in all other files there. nothing. I installed GR without the part to play online, but this cant be a reason for loosing that option-file, can it? I dont know.... goetz
  4. @ FritzDaKat: I contact UBI tech support but they didnt take my request cause I'm not from us or canada. I contacted the german ubisoft-site. now waiting for replie. dont know, if they support msi-bundle-buyer. maybe someone from usa can help me to get the fix from the ubi-soft-support.com? @SOTOPhantm: I turned the sound-hardware-acc. in DXDIAG off. ( I only can do this, cause I cant get in any GR-menu: GR crashes before start, just 2 seconds black screen, cdrom runs and then crash back to desktop) But the crash-log still shows this error with the EAX register-number, after I turned i

  6. @ whiteknight: I patched GR (patch 3 and 4) and I downloaded also the msi-fix from ubi-soft. after doubleclick the GR-icon on desktop, screen gets dark for 2 seconds, cd-rom starts to run and then GR crashes back to desktop without any error-messages (besides the crash-log). @ theflash: you think older drivers from msi work better. hmm, thats different to all what I read till now. but maybe I should try to get some older drivers. I still hope someone can find the reason for the crash. what does the error in the log mean with EAX; isnt that a digital-sound thing? still having hopes g
  7. hi my ghost recon came with msi TI4800. seconds after starting it crashes to desktop. I read and tried everything I could find here and in ubisoft-forum about the msi-bundle problem. would be great if somebody can help me. I saw this in the ikecrash.log: Read from location 00200068 caused an access violation.
