Yeah, that radar is awesome. Kudos to whichever mapper made that map.

SOAF maps were removed because it was illegal to distribute them.
-
Nope. Sensors don't work (and aren't in the TG kits).

Doh! How could I forget that frij!?!? I guess I've already settled into the fact. It actually kind of freaks me out when I'm playing by myself and see tangos on map now.

Check out Wolfsong's tutorial in the Recon section here at GR.NET: Wolfsong's Tutorial Particularly the Vehicles and Plans sections. See what you can figure out there. There is a plan step for Actors to escort Vehicles. After you read the tut you should know what that means and be able to figure out how to get it to work. Any questions from there, don't hesitate to ask. Vehicles are tricky because they can only do so much.

Just wanted to say nice posts Jester. I'm finding all of this very helpful.

All I hope is that it perks our boys in Afghanistan up, who've been on a search for a while now. Maybe it will give them a bit more steam to complete the pair. Saddam will not make everything better in Iraq. There's a lot of work to be done over there and the Coalition is getting to it. I only hope an impatient American public doesn't force an early withdrawal. It's gonna take time, let it take time. One thing Democracy requires is infrastructure. Capturing Saddam will not effect that process (except to possibly free up the forces dedicated to hunting him).

elpatricio laid out a basic synopsis very well. This is where it's going to get really tricky. There's a lot of details about what happened (of which I only know some). How exactly this happened and what resulted is where the most immediate source of the conflict can be found. People like to say the conflict is thousands of years old, but this particular conflict really isn't. Yes, that area of land has been fought on forever, and Jews have been ostracized throughout history, but Palestinian terrorism - as we see it today - is largely a reaction to the lack of a Palestinian state.

I am not the creator, but I thought I would let everyone know that the Tactical Gamer 3.0 mod has been released to the public. The news article is here: Tactical Gamer 3.0 As you may or may not know, it was developed for use amongst the Tactical Gamer community, catering to coordinated Coop gameplay and no-respawn Team vs. Team games. Karma and Sarc are the two guys that put this mod together and they've done an awesome job. If you're familiar with TG 2.0, then this version has modified kits and some new weapons. It includes support for Frostbite (FB 1.3 must be downloaded seperately

Frij, I'll PM you my email and you can send it to me to take a look at. I remember Mot once saying that having music in the briefing was causing some to crash. Might check that. As for the crashing on insertion. Did the whole game crash or just everyone but you? When I was testing one of Chey's missions with her I would crash out first time but she would still be in and then we'd just do it again and it'd work. I think it was because there were actor files that were server sided. Are you sure you're using only actor files that everyone has? If you send it to me I can look around and

This studio I recorded at use to get telemarketer calls constantly while we were mixing and stuff and the engineer had a great way to deal with them. They'd always ask for a female that was never in the studio for some reason and his answers escalated. At first it was, "No, she's out of the office today having sex with strange men." Then, "She's in the hospital right now. Drove her car right off a cliff. Too bad about the baby. See ya." "No I'm sorry she's on vacation in Europe. She'll be back in two years." "She's in space right now. Landing on the moon in just a couple days. You

I know you can get rid of them, but I think they're gone for good, meaning sensor or no sensor they won't show up. The TG 3.0 mod does this, but I believe they said they got the idea from a Wolfsong mod (I may be wrong on that, though).
-
I would guess that's your problem (no texture). Where is it showing up as white blocks? I know I get the problem when I don't move a texture into the folder I use for the lighting tool. Haven't had the white blocks anywhere but the lighting tool though.

Is there a .SHT file in your map folder? It should be generated at some point. Sometimes it's not generated and Igor will crash. Often times I have to do it two or three times to get it to generate. Other basics to check: Any content used has it's mod activated in igor You're creating a new ENV file every time you change the map (not positive if this is necessary, but I think it is) Does your map load in the lighting tool?

When you set the object to Non-2d-collidable you are making it so that the player is not stopped as he bumps into it. When you make it Non-3d-collidable you are making it so that bullets and line of sight are not blocked by it.

Um, I'm pretty sure enemies will use grenades if they have them. I always assign the ak47_2grenades kit to several of my baddies and they seem to have no problem using them.

I think it's a perfectly nice website. It even has contact info on it.

I haven't gotten into editing .gtf files really, but I would guess your best bet would be to take the siege script and edit it so that the smoke used is not the defenders insert zone, but the middle zone. Seems like it might not be too hard.

From what I've been told, the company, Battleborne, is one man. But I could be wrong on that.

Yeah, just thought sometimes buildings, even simple ones, provide more options for mission scripters. Looking good.

He seems to be around rarely nowadays, but I know a forum where he stops by occassionally. I will send him a PM with a link to this thread, but I don't know how soon he'll get it.

Looks good bludawg. Any buildings and such planned?

When I had that problem it was because I had accidentally deleted my sherman level. You might run a sherman height level check with Javaman's smart tools to see.

Screenshots look great Biro! Nice smooth hills ya got there.
