http://www.ubi.com/US/Games/Tom+Clancy’s+G...Recon™+2+PC.htm
Them screeenshots are in the PC section not the xbox
"New Graphic and Physics Technology: Real-life East Asian environments are rendered in stunning detail. Plus, Tom Clancy's Ghost Reconä 2 features next-generation technology such as dynamic lighting, multi-texturing, and ragdoll physics. The Havok 2 physics engine also provides realistic effects for destructible objects, moving vehicles and spectacular special effects"
I dont think this game will disapoint in graphics department or physics lol

i dont think vehicles will turn GR into a different game either, i dont know why people are so worried for, GR has got a good community and they know how to play a tactical shooter, GR community will adapt, they aint gonnna turn into CS players or BF1942
-
which day is GR being shown at E3 ?
-
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the Ghosts won't be driving any vehicles in the game-- thank god.
The only vehicles will probably be the same as the first one. Enemy vehicles and the vehicles used at the cutscenes in the single player campaign.
However, I hope to see a wider variety of vehicles in the game. Also, I'm looking forward to the glowing bullet holes in the enemy armour. Realism, yeah!
1. I do not want to see CUTSCENE insertion
2. Some vehicles will be drivable
You said "you would prob see people running each other over"
And. the same thing happens in reality. so whats the problem?
IF ghosts have to Quickly jump in a Humvey, truck or car to escape a fireFight or get to extraction , then so be it.
Vehicles are usually used for insert and extract. mission is usually on Foot

I dont like CS, UT or any of them. But i would like to see Ghost recon have a little change for the better and not just make a clone of GR 1 .
there has to be something more than just a new gun and pretty graphics.
I dont want to change the game to much but i want new than 2 new features.
-
lmao , the day/night cycles wouldnt be real time 24 hours a day. 1 hour is plenty, u start at dawn and it becomes light, u start at Dusk and it becomes gradually darker with the sun moving down .
joint operations does it already. it looks cool

"GRT- From your quotes at the UBI GR forums we know that you've had a chance to see GR2 firsthand and you feel fans will not be disappointed. Knowing that you're limited as to what you can say, has the sequel retained the spirit of the original?
BT: Very much so, and has introduced some great new features as well that will hopefully appeal to more players and help grow the GR community. In all honesty, who really wants just a paint job on an old game that doesn’t have any new life to it? GR purists and fans need not worry, we have left everything they loved about GR in tact and have added some great new features that will improve and enhance the classic GR experience."
I got this from an interview in an online article found here
http://www.ghostrecontwo.com/content/repor...-interview.html
So obviously no need to worry people, We will see what we did in GR 1.
" who really wants just a paint job on an old game that doesn’t have any new life to it?"
thats what i see from some of you, you dont want any change at all and a repeat of the 1st gr

Damn , it broke the forum size. err sorry.
But anyway These scans are for xbox.
any1 got the PC 1ns yet?

yeah by being injured it could incrase your noise level , screaming or hurting or something...
what i dont want to see is Medic packs that make u full health. I just want to keep some soldiers into the fight or alive...
Scenario for you :
We are advancing closer and closer to the enemy base. We push forward near the enemy lines and A patrol comes near us. 1 Of our players get shot. We fire into the darkness and our man is down, he screaming in pain, the enemy hears that!. the enemy radio's our position for backup.
Should we leave our man to die? or risk the 3 or 4 of us to save him. hes only a few feet away, but he maybe a few feet to far.
He could risk the mission and lives of ur other men and he doesnt have long to live... we have to extract him or we lose him through the campaign.
so yes im definitly for having a medic in the battle ! it would bring a lot more into the game
-
ive realized that helicopters are just not going to work for Multiplayer.
But for single player they will be fine. they will give u insert and sometimes extract. Sometimes They can pick you up or u call call for air support while in a hot fight. Althought they can get shot down ...
They will be AI controlled
-
ya something like CoD.
But things getting in soldiers eye. Wouldnt they have galsses ( goggles ) for that problem sometimes?
-
Ever think of how they are supposed to implement that?
Don't you think a meter at the bottom of your screen, which when it fills up the guy is healed is a little corny?
Read what i said again. the health bar would not go back up , it would just put them back into the fight.
Also whena RPG hits close and things fly about and some in ur eye, it could give a sort of Blinding thing, using a blurry effect for a few seconds

-
As the topic says. does any1 know if any of these will be implemented into GR 2?
If they were it would be awesome

-
If somme1 could re-create embassy map i think that would be quite popular for GR 2 ?
-
Should of put a poll on this, id be interested to see the statistics.
Because if you say medic in a army simulation is stupid, Then you are basicly saying taking a medic in real life is stupid and america's army is stupid for putting a medic in their game ?
-
I am for this idea because in real world situations special forces have medics with them.
What i would like to see is a medic which can Stop Bleeding to death. Or other minor injuries.
What i wouldnt like to see is a Medic giving a health pack for the player to get more health lol.
What you all think?
-
-
I dont want to seee death animations, they are boring. Also look how crap they looked in GR 1. you shoot some1 in the back and they fly forward about 10 feet lol.
its using the havok physics engine. bodies will get blasted all over the place by grenades. They will fall awkward, over barriers, get crushed. bla bla
Death animations pfff
-
Ghosts also do Travel a on foot a lot of the time , across miles.
But yes im sure Some sort of Insert and extract transport would be ideal to get from place to place and i dont mean cut scenes.
-
And you would know how? By reading something on the net?
Not trying to sound like a jerk but ...I mean thats a childish sounding statement.
The two weapon systems are different...but the M4/M16 system has proven to be extremely effective...with certain upgrades and modifications it could/will be formidable for years to come.
ok sorrry i didnt mean the m4 sucks. But from what ive read the m4 dont rival the xm8 in almost any aspect, thats what i meant, sorry
-
why dont you look at the statistics?. the xm8 is going to be used instead of the m16 and m4 in the US army
You really should take a look at the features on this gun here
http://www.hk-usa.com/corporate/media/pdf/...Comparison1.pdf
The xm8 beats the M4 in nearly or every aspect it will be a much more effeciant Gun than the m4

-
M4 sux compared to the Xm8
Some more gameplay footage.
