  1. Well so far it seems that people like it the way it is, but with just a few improvements - displaying winning sig on news page, sounds good to me :)

Keep voting everyone, i need as much feedback as possible :D

    Cheers

  2. Would you place it closer to Ghost Recon type game with you having to watch your ammo count, planning what your going to do etc or more like a counter strike game - running about anywhere you wish and spending 60 bullets for each un-friendly character you meet?

  3. How long is the single player campaign - i.e. is the game mostly based on online mp games so the sp campaign lasts 30mins or does it actually have a decent story line that lasts ages?

  4. I played the demo and thought it was a load of arcadey ######.

To sum it up, you can carry like five weapons at a time, the graphics are average, the sounds are below average and the maps aren't even that great.

Yeah, sure arcade-type games can be fun for a while; you don't have to totally engross yourself or anything. But it definitely isn't worth £24.99, no sir.

How would you compare it to ghost recon type games?

I mean is it more like red faction and counter strike running around like a maniac shooting constantly :P or more like ghost recon and r6 where it requires planning for example?

  5. Just curious of your views on improvements to the Rico Designs Sig Awards competition. All your views and ideas are welcome and appreciated, and plz vote for which you think is the most important idea/improvement.

    Cheers

  6. Since I took it over, I have save every picture that I have posted, so that might help a little bit!? :D

I've still got some from when i used to do it! Hell that was years ago, way before the hack!

I really should clean out my comp :P

  7. I like to change mine... When ever I see somthing new that I like.

Im like that, i pretty much change my sig about every month, sometimes even every odd day to something new that i like or just made, or something i made ages ago and kinda like it again.

Im constantly viewing the gfx world, along with gr.net, as much as possible as I can learn loads and get a lot of inspiration for my own work, and also help others along the way with their own problems.

  8. Sig Awards No.4 is now closed

If the judges for this one could please mark each sig as directed and get back to me on their results, i'll tot em up and announce the winner. GL ALL! :D

  9. Thanks to Velocity for his work on my new sig image and avataar, very cool, I like it alot.

velocity that is a VERY original idea for a sig man --- hats off, chico!

    Superb job there Velo

nice job. Zjj... hooking up with the talented work of Velocity !!!!

    good going "guys"!

That is outstanding! Great piece of work!

Compliments to all involved! I believe it will set a new look for signatures!

Thanks guys, im really happy that you like. I think, if you ask zjj, that it took a LONG time to make, and knowing that you like it and its being put to good use - it makes it all worthwhile. I couldn't of done it without zjj's help though, she was invaluale at setting this up and providing the info on rockys 'sig dream':D

@Rocky - You do a HELL OF A LOT for this and other communities and do your job as a admin and friend brilliantly. So, think of this sig and avatar as a present from all the members of gr.net, and all the other communities you are a highly respectful member of, and a dear thankyou for all the hard work you have done over the years. I believe i speak for us all in saying, to you and the staff, THANKYOU FOR EVERYTHING.

Now enjoy your sig m8 :D

  10. I think Nightcrawler is one.......but I cant think of others.....WK as well.........

I made both NC's and WK's (if its the helo one your on about) sigs eons ago when i first started making them, saying that makes me feel old now :wacko::P

As for me, I've gone through more sigs than i've had hot meals

  11. "Gotten" is just an Americanism. What's there is fine (him being a Brit and all). :)

Yeah i agree...I think its fine as it is - if i make the text any longer i'll have to extend the sig

  12. I believe that the British forces are much better than the American forces in Iraq at one particular thing for certain. That is close quarters urban warfare. This is because the British forces have spent time in Northern Ireland where they became especially good at close quarters urban peace keeping where theres a high concentration of civilians extremely close.

I don't recall who it was but one american general, officer, i dont remember what he was, said this also. He put it down to the British forces gaining lots of experience at this in Northern Ireland and done to the way their trained, compared to their American counterparts.

I'll try and find out who it was that said it, but i cant recall who at the moment ;)
