  1. Can someone please open up the Marine skins from IT in Photoshop and save them as PSD's? Photoshop is giving me "cannot parse" errors, I dont know why, those are the only skins I can't import. Upload the PSD's to an FTP. Click here to open up an FTP window. Login using ghostrecon and asdf as pass. Please post a reply when you have done so so I could delete the account. Thanks all.

Yo, i doubt it, I mean im just workin with this on my compter, btw, i havent actually pulled this off, I mean it would be nice of RSE to release a patch for us good ol' GR players with more uniform possibilities, Urban being one of them, it would be just sweet, and they can use my urban skins for this w/e man, it owuld be just sweet for us and nice of RSE, its not all about profits, its also about the community, and giving a damn about people that do buy your game and still play it, after you released better ones. You know, Im part of the mac community, Im making this mod fully on my mac, you know, and now that Splinter Cell and RVS is finally getting released for the mac sometime soon, it wouldnt hurt to boost up your sales a bit by giving something to the mac community. I mean you do get profits off it. Aspyr has released every single RSE game on the mac. Now I bet RSE has gotten some profits off that. And they are still not done, why not cooperate with Aspyr on the release of Ghost Recon 2. Huge sales man, huge sales.

  3. As some of you might have heard, I am working on an Urban Camo mod dedicated to the Mac GR Community. Now, IT wasn't officialy released for the Mac, however, if you have a PC you can move the Mp2 folder over to your mac and voila, but alot of the folks don't know that. Anyhow, I wanted to make a new set of skins replacing the IT skins to Urban skins, and it worked, however, my goal was not to make IT required, so I moved all the skins and CHR's over to their proper places in my mod's folder. Now guess what... I tried removing the Mp2 folder from my Mods folder to see if it would work... just to realize that it uses the default GR skins... that's when it hit me! I created a new folder called "Mp2" in my Mods folder and copied the IT ModsCont.txt over. I start up GR, and guess what, it uses my skins for all the maps that have the JungleMap variable. Now this is amazing, if we could figure out how exactly this process works, we could create different skins for each map, create the ultimate realistic skins mod.

    Imagine realising an Unofficial Addon that would allow mappers to choose which exact camo they wanted to use on their map... creating Ghost Recon 1.5

  4. Avey you got no idea what I just said... :D can anyone do me a favor? Since Im having problems with opening the kit icons, can anyone make them 4 me, with the Beryl? What Im looking for is the Rifleman kits from 1-4, the ones with M16, but with the Beryl instead of the M16, and on the first one, FRAG instead of the M203, thanks.

  5. Im making a site, and my ISP's FTP doesn't support PHP or anything, I was wondering, can anyone hook me up with like 5 Mb of space, max 30 Mb traffic monthly, and PHP, if not maybe you can give me links to some good hosts. :rolleyes:

  6. Well CK, seeing as how you're not going to release the mod this weekend, just puts me to thinking. How about if I model that G36c in the image, I have the time and everything, plus I always wanted to do it. :o=

    Edit: Anyone know what model of the G36 is that? So I could find some more pics of it... :ph34r:

  7. Two things though, the texture seems really dark. Also the magazine seems to thin out up near the mag well making it smaller in diameter than the rest of the magazine.

    As to the texture part, I am most likely going to reskin it because I am not satisfied with it either. As the the width of the magazine in the front, yeah I know I made it like that, that's how the mag is supposed to look.
