  1. Try Amazon Tollen, I'm half way through the book at the moment. The description of him taking out the general was amazing in what he endured to take the shot.
  2. Believe me I've seen some T80 Commmodores before, complete with support infantry, usually looking as they've copped a few hits from a M136.
  3. Yeah at least this one can see over the dash-no pun intended but all accolades accepted

    One last wish

Nice, clean and above all funny
  5. Luckily the RAN has just upgraded from Daschund Mk3 to German Shepherd Mk1
  6. I think that was Steve Vai Cpl Ledanek, but no quotation marks please , they are both equally good I used to get goose bumps from that last scene and even taped it. Speaking of goose bumps and loosely tied to the subject, anyone else get that little surge listening to a piece that just grabs you or should I keep up with the medicatioin?
  7. I was in the FADS (Friday Afternoon Drinking Society), the Sporties and the ###### am I doing sitting by myself at lunch time.
  8. I'm just starting to learn the basics of playing the blues. Although I haven't heard a lot of the genre your referring to it has to be the the most emotional form IMHO. I've touched on some bluessgrass that to me is a little happier when you play it. The very basic pieces I'm playing generally follow the standard 12 bar blues structure, but there are so many variances. This is also the best type to jam to. Pick your lick and let someone play over the top and who knows what can happen(ability withstanding) @Sgt. Croc. that film is O Brother Where Art Thou by the Coen Brothers, and that had o
  9. ^should incorporate the words minimum or minor to create confusion @Zantar45, he looks serious, is he any good? I didn't name myself after him BTW
  10. ^represents some kind of mad aerial travelling primate
  11. @DeltaDude-the film wasn't that scary, the lumps in my undies afterwards were...
  12. Yes mobs and mods a plenty.. A friendly recomendation, play the campaign without any weapons mods first. Even though I'm a noob myself on this forum I can say with plenty of GR experience, welcome to the best game around.
  13. Best: Ghost Dog, love the black humour and Forrest Whittaker Scariest: The Ring-anyone who's seen it doesn't need reminding
  14. Back to the drawing board I guess... Nice work, I'm having a bit of trouble with my Ghost Racoon mod.
  15. I finished this book about two weeks ago and promptly ordered Eyes Behind The Lines (may not be the actual title) on Amazon (and Marine Sniper while I was at it) I've not read any more emotional book based on fact. Basically the first book involves the diary style recollections of Gary Linderer attached to F Company ??? 101st Division(apologies for not relaying the full details but 56th comes to mind) in the first half of his tour in 1968 as an LRRP. I realise that Vietnam is a sore point for a lot of people and I have my own views ( as best a 31yo Australian with a non service histor
  16. Still looks like a pretty hot area though. Did you pull through?
  17. Japanese for Peregrine Falcon, one of God's finest creations. Stems from a life long fascination with diurnal raptors. <This is a Savanagh Hawk or something like that
  18. Mouse and keyboard. My middle mouse button is reload and the 4th button is change rate of fire. Handy in the middle of a firefight
  19. How many times have I gone to hit F6 in co-op?
  20. 1600*1200*32 and have done for some time. I'm now used to leaning forward and really scanning the terrain for any non-conformity. Although after about 4 hours of this my eyes are stinging. My monitor will handle this resolution @ 85Hz which helps things.
  21. Thanks guys, I shall continue tonight. And El Oso thankyou
  22. The 6th mission in Frostbite whose name elludes me has me stumped. I have spent over two hours searching for the intel with no luck. I have the Russian officer in tow and all I need is this bloody intel. I don't normally resort to asking for help but I have faith enough in my own ability to know when I'm beat Of course I may not have the correct mission number above, but it's after Blue Ghost and has the castle and the bunkers which have to be knocked out first. I love this mod enough to leave it and let it go and if it comes back...
  23. The Dam Mission1-open vantage points for sniping, snipers to snipe at and lots of close in stuff. And it's a bloody great map
