Well It seems Thumpers Mod is not available because I'm damned if I can find it on that mess called Fileplanet. All I see is 9 listings for weapons and that one isnt one of them

I have been trying to get Thumpers 762mm mod for a while now and I'll be damed if fileplanet/gamespy is completly useless. I've had an account there for years but every time I try to D/L this mod I get thrown to a screen talking about my account and stuff (I already have one and it always says I'm logged in) so when I try to go find the file.....all I get is empty pages and a whole lot of nada. Anyone have a place to D/L this file without going thru the madness that is fileplanet?

I've got a pic from the of American Rifleman (the NRA's mag) about the weapon systems carried by our troopers. Anyway in the pic, the Marine (the MARPAT cover gave him away) his M16A2 looks worn as hell and he has Duct tape on the bottom of his Mag. I'll try to put it up once I get home.

I had the same problem until I used the plug in off the Island Thunder cd. It's in a folder called "extras" I think....once in there you'll see the PS plug in folder. This cleared up this error for me and I'm running PS6.0

In doing some research on the M4 and it's varients, I find that it is either single shot or 3 round burst. Why are all the M4's I find in mods single or full auto? Just curious is all.

it worked....seems the one I D/L'd from here was old or just plain bad.....the one off the cd works like a charm.

I also need some help/advice here on this topic. I have a M240G that is damn near a sniper light MG, not something I really want or need. I'm at work now so I dont have the .gun file in front of me. But taking some tuning proceedures from racing (1/8 scale on-road gas) I know that you have to start at one spot in the tune and get that stable then start adding other tweeks from different areas. IF we take that to the .gun file.....where would be the 1st place you all would start and then what would you tweek if you had a similar type of problem?

Why is it when I try to open SOME kit icon rsb files I get this error: Photoshop cannot open XXXX.rsb because the format module cannot parse the file. others/most open fine. I have the rsb plug in installed. any help?

Thanks for the replys. I have/had DS and IT running also. Again I was just experimenting to see what happens and what is missing (sort of a trial and error reverse engineering thing). I read thru that IGOR for dummies thing again and re-read the ATR section. I also have BjB's ATR generator but after seeing it I'm not sure how to really use it. Also do you have to have different Hero and MP folders? This is the main problem I seem to be having is what to put either of those. Same with the kits. Why are there kit folders for Hero, MP and Rifleman, Demo, HV, Sniper. Some even add more

Ok, so I bit the bullet and decided to do a mod (small weapons type) of an existing mod. I didnt like the kit combos and thought....hell how hard can this be..........2 weeks later here I am adrift in the Modding Sea Kit files I understand. Gun files I understand and can work with. Kit Icons...yep figured that out also (with help from 151 Lancer, an old teammate). The RSB image thing....got it with a lot of trial and error. So here I am all happy with my new kit combos. Not being really PC hardware savvy, one of my teammates had me bridge the 2 on board NIC's together on my Asus A7N8X Nivida 2 MB. He said it was to take up the slack if one got bogged down. I said...."Duh ok" and had him walk me thru it over the phone. Seems to work well except when my ISP decides to burp. Wow, what a lame 1st post......I'll try harder next time
