I was watching XLink vids and found this YouTube channel. They have a Discord server for planning games. You should check it out, if you haven't already!

I found this thread over at the XLink Kai forum. Here's another post.

Awesome! Had no idea that LAN functionality for original XBOX games worked on a 360. Good to know! I have Summit Strike and all of the Rainbow Six games for the original XBOX. It might be a while before I get around to getting everything dug out and hooked up, but I'm definitely down to play sometime! XLink is pretty sweet. Used it to play SOCOM II online!

Wildlands Closed Beta - Press Release

Line of Sight: Vietnam? I run Windows 7 (64-bit), and have never had the Steam version, v1.04, crash on me, but whatever they did to update the game also broke it. Floating corpses, glitched out crawling enemies, you get stuck on objects in the game environment more often than in previous versions, the server browser can't be revived with the Qtracker GameSpy fix, and GameRanger doesn't recognize the new executable. It's a mess. Unless they fix it, I would avoid the Steam version. If you still have a retail copy, stick with it and the latest retail patch, v1.03. The only nice thing about it, that I noticed, was the addition of widescreen resolutions in the video options, though custom resolutions are attainable in previous versions through editing a configuration file. Just saw that Retroism also re-released Elite Warriors: Vietnam on Steam. Not sure if they updated it, but I'm hesitant to buy it. Just found a copy at a Goodwill store, anyways! -
The open beta for CI Games' (City Interactive) Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 begins February 3rd. If you're interested in checking it out, you can signup here!

Wildlands Closed Beta - Press Release

Yep! Elite Warriors: Vietnam! I like the nWorld engine games, but they are definitely buggy. Retroism just re-released Line of Sight: Vietnam and Deadly Dozen on Steam. Not sure about Deadly Dozen, but they updated LOS:V and made it even buggier than it was before. -
Wildlands Closed Beta - Press Release

For the For Honor closed beta, they sent the e-mails out the day before it started. They'll probably do the same for Wildlands. -
This guy is streaming it on YouTube.

Yep! DOSBox is the way to go! The game might run a little slow, at first, but that can be fixed by increasing the number of cycles, as detailed here.

One of the coolest DOS games I've played. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVpvP4WSKyk
