Ah I see I am needed here! Its an APEQ-4 Laser Designater with IR source. For an M4 or M16 or some weapon you can mount it on the forward RIS, Rail Interface System.

I know that's not even close to everything in this thread. As Jeff always says: "It's like talking to your friends in a pub."
Get a bunch of drunks together some time and see how well they stay "on topic." (Whatever "on topic" means. I certainly don't know.)

Told us about Skippy (for the Aussie's Skippy was a Kangaroo that was on telly many years ago- sort of like Lassie would go and get Help etc)- Skippy was to be flown out to the US for a promo tour- flying Sydney to LA... except they packed him next to some dry ice- so when the 747 touched down at LAX- Skippy was rock solid dead....so they had to fly anohter roo out....

You think that's bad? In a few weeks I'll be travelling for about 24 hours (a whole day
) half-way round the planet! When I go to New Zealand, I'll have a 2 or 3 hour flight to LA and then a 12 hour flight to Auckland. Then 2 weeks later I'll have a 3 and half hour flight from Christchurch to Cairns, Queensland.
@ Nightmare: Quit bitching about getting a free trip. If you don't want to go, I will.
