  1. I'm not sure what you mean with that idea. In GR all objects are pre-made. So that means if you want a crater on position x,y then it needs to be created in 3DSM as such. The game-engine does not calculate the crater in-game.
  2. What is there to be read wrong?...I quoted your own words. You explained how you modeled it, with the interiour and the splines 'n all, first making one side of the car and then copying it to the other side. You ARE saying you modeled it, right there. There's nothing wrong in setting up a scene and posting it. It's quite fun. But at least mention that you borrowed the objects from a 3D-library instead of leaving the assumption you made it. To answer your questions: 1) Read THIS THREAD and look at the work there. 2) You don't have to hide the things you made....but what did you actua
  3. Oh yeah!...extremicous maximus coolicus
  4. I think I did: I guess it's only me that is getting the assumption you're trying to explain here how you made the model then? And why is your name underneath those wireframes "by [GRT1]Kpl.Eli" then? And where is the reference to the original creator? Anyway, you made clear that the models are not yours and that's good enough for me. So of the work you showed, what did you actually model?
  5. LMAO!..that's one kick-ass weapon there...you'll need 2 pair of arms to hold it.
  6. The reason for me asking you for a wireframe, is that I'm having doubts about the models you claim to be done by your hand. I'd recognize that '57 Chevy from miles away, since it was the first model I downloaded from Digimation when I started with 3DSM. Why you are claiming it to be your work, is a mystery to me though. Here's the wireframe and render from the '57 Chevy done by the original creator Viewpoint DataLabs (distributed by Digimation): Compare the wireframes if you want, I did.....and guess what, even the errors are exactly the same. Yes, there is an error in tha
  7. I bet those holes will raise the polycount skyhigh. Why not simply make a 9 sided cilinder and put an Alpha-texture on it to reproduce the holes? It will make your model much lower on the polys.
  8. Nice wires!!....did you make that 57 Chevy?
  9. I was thinking about that at first, but I'm not sure if a tree can be made destructable (never tried it) hence the "door"-solution. EDIT: a <dyn> should work aswell.
  10. We hope to release White-Skull Valley for the Mac aswell. You may wanna check on the topic once a while.
  11. ^ Is being beaten to the punch second time now by the same guy ^
  12. ^ is no making a teamlogo for me, since I made it myself ^
  13. ^ has made a good mission but his team-mates won't test it out with him ^
  14. STOP-sign (LOL..I love the Simpsons.)
  15. I'm not sure if a tree can be tagged destructable (could be something good to test). I have a feeling it can though. But I know a door can be made destructable, so why not make the destructable trees tagged as doors? They won't sway in the wind anymore then though. How would you want to discuss something like that whithout being serious?
  16. thanks!..but I meant the 57 Chevy
  17. ^ has a cool sig but isn't member of anything ^ BTW: I made some of the other sigs aswell
  18. ^ Still hasn't send me 57 Chevy wireframe ^
  19. Yeah, seen that!....geez...nice job fella's!
  20. the tracks That screenshot wasn't there before
  21. The conditions to play are stated very clear. This is not for just your enjoyment and not being on TS can ruin it for the others. COOP is played at it's best when on comms, although you believe it's not. I also see you found our emoticonslist very usefull
  22. The crater is not dynamic. It's part of the terrain and an object like anything else. And a tree is a dynamic object already right? As long as it's not animated too much (1 animation for each state) it wouldn't take up too much (I think). There's one drawback though: it will look very strange if the tree is shot at the top and the whole tree destroys leaving a crater in the bottom. Could be something to look into on day though.
  23. You can post the image here....or send it to my email: deleyt@red-sector.com
