  1. It's no hasstle and thanks for the updates
  2. Trainride is still in production, but progress has been halted because my rig can't run the max-file properly anymore I will continue once I upgrade my rig. Dunno what I'm gonna do afterwards though. GR3 seems to be a powerfull engine to do some good stuff there. Same goes for Armed Assault or Enemy In Sight although info is sparse so far.
  3. AFAIK, only windows is supported.
  4. One hand's talking Swedish, the other one is talking french
  5. Anything else you need to change before I'm downloading it? Just making sure
  6. Having a trial-version that ended doesn't affect the format whatsoever, so that can't be it. On top of that, I don't think the game will crash at all if an .rsb is missing from the list, it would just display that particular image as blank, just a strong feeling about that though. Are you sure you didn't change other things in the mod AFTER the trial ended? Or maybe you saved an .rsb with the wrong exporter, or improper settings?
  7. Geez Zebb...are you robbing casualties on your ambulance-shift or what? That's some setup you got there! Clearly GR3 isn't playable with the system I've got right now. A dual 7800GTX is out of my range right now as I'm trying to rebuild my current system of about 6 years old (which served me well I might add). So that means a new mobo, cpu, memory and vid-card and still be able to take my G/F to Corsica this summer Clearly an SLI setup has some awesome advantages so I'll probably go for one 7600GT, and adding one later when the prices drop. Thanks for the info. I woul
  8. Same here. Nice job there Phlookian! I like the windowshutters and cloth flapping in the wind. had me shooting it for a few seconds, thinking it was a guy moving behind the shed
  9. You don't have a clue what you're talking about. Every engine needs to develop through time. That's just how things work in the real world. Todays demands are high and I think GRIN did a good job on trying to reach that level, although I have to agree that they are missing out on some parts. Using a third party engine would bring us to all those Unreal and Quake engines, which are used too much already IMO. Every game looks the same (engine-wise) and there's little surprise. I praise GRIN for developing their own engine, as RSE once did. Back to the question: should they've added A
  10. Would love to read more specs from people running an SLI or Crossfire setup as I'm looking into upgrading aswell. Also would like to hear from Viper how the 6600's are doing. Anyone else care to post their videocards?
  11. A lot of people get motion-sickness with certain games, either because of the FOV or the fluency of motion. Particularly games that run on the Unreal or Quake-engines have this distinct negative effect on players, but other games can cause it too. For most of those players, GR1 didn't have this negative effect on them because of the engine and a proper FOV.
  12. Didn't Bo mention somewhere that you can pick up ammo IF it's the same calibre?
  13. post process on seems a bit too yellowish if you ask me. I can understand GRIN tried to capture the mexican sun but it's been overdone IMO.
  14. I'll have to wait 'till I'm getting my original copy through the mail before getting into the files, I guess. The demo seems to be packed as one file though, except the audio, video and config-files.
  15. LMAO! That's a good one :rofl Sorry to hear he's still around. I would've hoped he moved onto something like Unreal.
  16. No jumping for me. It's fine the way it is.
  17. :Db::Korven+Apr 28 2006, 06:06 PM--> QUOTE(::Db::Korven @ Apr 28 2006, 06:06 PM)This isn't good! It feels like you want to puke all over the keyboard when playing Domination. Something is really wrong with the view. OMG OMG OMG. I WANT TO "ZOOM OUT" A BIT. HELP ME GRIN! HELP ME! ← I agree that GRAW's FOV is wrong. I could play GR for 24 hours straight. But this game makes me green and purple all over after an hour or so. My guess is that it's not just the FOV but also the engine being used now.
  18. It's an optic illusion. You seem to walk faster because you're zoomed in slightly.
  19. Glad I'm not the only one....weird noone else is mentioning it though.
  20. Installing the new drivers fixed a lot of things. I still have the jumping reticle though. Got a feeling this is how it's supposed to be....
  21. En4: I got the same funky trees and textures like you did. So I'll try to update my drivers too. Got a different thing I'm getting annoyed about: Ehen zoomed in on my XM8, the aim-point is going all over the place. I mean, I know it's supposed to have some jerking around but this is rediculous! I can't even aim straight, it's all fire and hope to hit
  22. Runs like crap on my system. The textures are mapped wrong, trees got weird textures, parts of the city appear/dissappear, my aim-point (when zoomed in) is going all over the place, FPS is really, really low, and on, and on. Presentation-screen is looking good though. My specs: P4 2.54 Ghz 512 MB ATI Radeon 9600Pro 20" Widescreen Philips LCD
  23. Downloading now: 17%, 240 Kb/s, 25 min. to go
  24. I'd call this important enough to be announced on the main-page
