thanks matt helped him out alot now he drives like he only had a few drinks. why wont they open the stupid doors to get in and out of the humvee? im not sure how to use open door close door scripting. How do i get them to open the doors? -
first off what angle do these humvees turn at. Im not good t math. what is a good speed for a humvee? do humvees workj better if there are alot of turns to use speed path speed path in one plan?

may i ask how i would retexture the map? I dont have any programs to do that unless i can do it in igor. unless you know where i can download a thing to do it? i really would like my dream map. (hint hint) there has to be a map with blue water isnt there some on IT with blue-ish water

mine did " i scripted alot since it so i have alot of randoim stuff with in now to so i may have to unscript it and check again.

I was wondering are there any good beach maps out there that have blue water and like no buildings. beach resort isnt what i got in plan. my dream beach map is blue water a nice long/ deep beach with stakes for markers also in water. You have like a cliff you have to get up that has spots for enimies to hind in and maybe a tank to fit in. Than on top have like a pill box that is half under ground that has a door in back but still can have a guy or a 50 cal in there (the bunchers are dym so u can blow them up) also some big guns that are attached to like pill boxes. kind of like D-day i

double checked it have right target. and he still missed. would any of theses things have anything to do with it: 1. the tank that fires is on the low grounds. 2. The tank that should be hit is behind a big bush and trees would there be an explosion where the shell hit so i can get a clue where he is firing at.

ok i got the tank to shot. I just have 1 small problem. The shot isnt hiting the target. i let it shot 4 rounds non hit the target. Any reason?

ok ill be back in a bit with a help question lol. hopefully not. I cant find it any where and my parents wont let me buy it online. All i see in regualr stores is the gold pack with is pointless for me to get since i have the original and IT. jack you could always make mods with just IT or GR or a combo of those two o well. i forgot umm being a noob at scripting and all i cant get an animation to work. Nothing happens.

thats what jack is for jk ill do my best to figure it out jack. ill probaly have some good scripter tell me if the dead bodies and taking there guns away may have a problem. i think i have a good understanding to what it would be like. not sure if my hole plan will work but if it doesnt ill have to go to plan b.

I have some unarmed friendly AI troops who are captured (captive behavior). They have at least 1 enemy AI troop gaurding the person. I want if you kill the guard(s) and bump them they will follow you but if they walk over a dead guard or soilder they will bend down and "pick" up his weapons and the dead soilder will lose is weapons. will that work or will it crash because of the dead guy losing weapons?

so i was right. I need a good tutorail or get alot better at scripting so im sure of myself and i wont ask to many questions. -
I was testing out a rescue part of my mission and came across a problem. I have a base guarded by 2 tanks i blow up both tanks and took the side door and the long way to where my captured allied soilder was. I noticed the enemy soilder was gone and later saw him near the tanks investigating what happened. Than i saw him again investigating where the shots came from. (i didnt have a good shot of him eighter time) I rescued the hostige and went to go kill the enemy but he was no place to befound. I searched the forest and went to the cross roads and he shot me from the store. I like

textures of my screen shot? i just saved it as a jpg to cut the size down. thats y. Ill try to do that depeption thing. hopefully it works out fine.

im not scared of Matt. He is a very nice man and i know what he is saying in his post there. im not sure if all got this and why i want the effect so. here is a screen shot (i have more done with effects with the gas tanks just need to script it in) I want the building you see to be on fire with smoke also.

I'm sorry :'( i usally never do. Its just it will take (50+)of effects and i dont want to have them all and play it and it lags because to much is going on at one time. Thats all and i dont have a program to make those things. :'( I name all the actors or at least the allied ones with fake "real names" just make up a name like Jeff Lebeck or something that sounds like a real name for the people who use AFF.

yes i can just thought it would be easier and create less lag because im having a whole building from floor to roof on fire. and there is the factor of laziness also. if know one will make me one ill have to do multiple effects of it

I was wondering if anyone one could make me an effect for my mission. I want a flame that looks and burns just like GENERAL_TYPE27 but it is 2 times hight and 3 times its width. Im burning something big and it will tke way to many GENERAL_TYPE27 to make it burn. (im burning a building)

i want him to shot his big gun than move. He doesnt shot (he is a howitzer) and the tank he is shoting at is a howitzer so the tank should burn when it is hit but the tank wont shot.

thanks ill work on that. i tried the DestroyTarget in a trigger plan that if Tank_xyz triggers a proximity cancle the main plan and give him the trigger plan but he didnt do anything. I than cancled that and did if Tank_xyz triggers a proximity show messageall (the tank has triped the proximity) to show and it worked. do i need anything to make sure he blows it up. i had this for the trigger plan 1. destory target 2. speed 3. path the tank didnt do any of it

mine isnt that far. I need help with things but know one is responding to my post like normal. So im trying trial in error. Im on the village map with the bridge where you have to clear the cross road and rescue the 2 un soilders the one building on the cross road im going to try to set the whole thing on fire.
