uninstall the mod completely, then hopefully that should work

I download the excellent looking downtown map/mod. Im anxious to play but I cant seem to install it right. The readme and the Modconts notepad files are corrupted in such a way that when I try and open them, it tells me access is denied. Im not sure if that is the root of the problem or not. If anybody can help please respond.

What happened to the development of that mod? Does anybody know if Monolith is still working on it? He posted about it several weeks ago and at that time he said it was very close to finalization. Dont mean to rush perfection but god damn I want to open up on some undead mutha ######as...
