  1. well i downloaded it, installed it, played it, and then uninstalled it.

as for your prob sniper, i don't have a clue. the file i downloaded, from your link above, was a .exe so it installed fine, no unzipping required.

we may have become spoiled with today's demos because this one left a little to be desired. a game that has thrived on MP in the past, but no real MP in the demo. unless you(i am talking in general not to supa! lol) wanna share your seat and keyboard with your buddy, of course that is your business... :P ...u also have no options screen to set up the keys you feel comfortable with, or watever u feel u need to do, there is a start up screen before the game launches so u can set your refresh rate and resolution, and another blank field labeled "Advanced" which you can type in various commands found in the readme file to run the game in a window, custom screen resolution, no sound, etc. anyway when i got in the game my guy wouldn't stop walking and i hadn't even touched a button yet...plus the camera is a lil off since all i could see was the top of my worm's head and the floor, no matter how hard i tried to move my mouse around it always snapped back to that positon... :( ....the graphics looked nice, from what i saw of the weapon i had(looked like a bazooka) it looked nice as well, whenever my character would walk he put it away, not sure if this was intentional or not...all in all a bit dissapointing...i can definitly see why they havn't posted a north america release yet...in fact with two released demos so full of bugs you can't even test the game i can't see for the life of me how they have a european release date!!!... :o ...but still if they can get it all ironed out it should hold true to the Worms we have all come to know and love....

i'm trying it again tonight, i've heard it works great for some people, and there playing missions and what not?! so, i guesss we'll just have to wait till the N.A relelase, which by the looks of the demos, isn't going to be any time soon!

i got the demo to work, when i downloaded it i dl it as a .zip file, so i simply put .exe and it worked. Its a great demo if you ask me, it takes a while to get used to but i love the views(alittle twitchy but can be fixed) and the graphics are great for the game. Theres also a few little things that make the game great. I"m short for time i suggest if you got a moment, dl the demo.!

  2. ok hers the deal. Here's a link to download the new 92.6 mb demo. It work for most of the people. It didn't work for me the first tiem it woudn't let me unzip the file. But i'll dl it again tommorow afternoon, it seems to work for most people! tell me ur results!

  3. Heres another update: there was an error distrubuting the demo. THey are currently working on getting the mirrors up for download.

But....on another update before the above update, it said they had fixed it and you could download it from a certain source. I am downloading it now, and will give you all the link once i figure out if the dl works or not! keep your fingers crossed!

  4. yeah worms:armagedon rocked!!

can't wait to check out the demo, but...it seems that there is no MP support in the demo? except for 2 players on the same machine, god i hate sharing my keyboard....

o ya i hate sharing. I wish that one player had the left side of the keyboard, and the other player had the right, and just have to give each other the mouse once and a while, but still a great game. Does ne one have ne ideas about the N.A release?

P.S trying to get the new demo again!

  5. well i hear worms3d is coming out on the 31st in Europe and Austrailia. The date for N.A and the rest of us is still undecided. ?

    Also...........

    THEY JUST RELEASED ANOTHER DEMO!!

I'm downloading it now, hoping that this one works. I"ll let you know!

Edit: the 2nd demo, is not working. And its not the demo itsself it was when Team17 was uploading it to the mirrors. So their trying that now, and i'll try to download it later.(file should be 93 mb, if not don't download it)

  6. ok, i was on a game website when i found this. It reads what number you have in your mind. I Know it has some mathimatical thing, but how does it do it? heres what you do, pick any two digit number, and take each digit and add them, then take that number and devide it from the original number.

Ie: 32= 3+2=5 32-5=27, then take that number match it on the chart and click the magic ball. its amazing!

  7. all good points made, and i'd love to have the confindence that many of you do about gr2, but, would they not have already started making/announcing it? its been how many years now? also, if they visit this site regularly(which would be smart because of so many members a.k.a consumers) they'd know that we are ready for some more gr, new and improved. and even if they haven't started devoloping it yet, shouldn't they atleast say that there planning too. Even though way back when, when they said they were planning too, it would just be nice to here some confimation, or some up to date confimration atleast! :sheep:

  8. i was going to start this topic but afraid of what might happen to it. But since you have, i don't think he should be aloud to play. If he wasn't a superstar he'd be in jail, and probably already proven guilty(if he is that is) because most people can't afford a high price laywer like he probably has. Plus hes probably trying to pay everyone off so they say hes innocent. Thats just my idea, like Recon Snake said though, Innocent until proven guilty!

I think we'll all just have to see and watch it play out.

  9. On Sears hairdryer:

    "Do not use while sleeping."

On a bar of Dial soap:

    "Directions: Use like regular soap."

On packaging for a Rowenta iron:

"Do not iron clothes on body."

    On Boot's Children's cough medicine:

"Do not drive car or operate machinery."

    On Nytol sleep aid:

    "Warning: may cause drowsiness."

    On a Korean kitchen knife:

    "Warning: keep out of children."

On a string of Christmas lights:

"For indoor or outdoor use only."

    On a food processor:

"Not to be used for the other use."

    On Sainsbury's peanuts:

    "Warning: contains nuts."

On an American Airlines packet of nuts:

    "Instructions: open packet, eat nuts."

    On a Swedish chainsaw:

"Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands."

    On a child's Superman costume:

"Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly."

:lol: Warning Keep out of children!!!!!!

    Where did you get these?

  10. i do quit a bit of research before buying a game. I go to many sites to see reveiws, ask freinds, check the web for fan sites, therefor finding tech support if i ever need it. I will download a demo sometimes. I also see how much it costs, because i don't rake in to much, and also, if there looks to be future expansions, or modding capabilities.
