I never really understood this betrayel thing, as if ubi or red storm owes us something. Sorry, they don't. Its their call to either listen or ignore the userbase. Its your call to either buy it or not. End of story. Some people seem to have a bit of unrealistic expectations at times, this in general speaking tho. I'm not trying to start a flame war.
To me that was very well said. Yes i'm dissapointed in what GR2 seems to be at the moment, but i will not judge it( anymore of what i've already done) until i have played it.
I think the thing that is most misunderstood here is that whining isn't going to make GR2 the way you want it.

Yeah, now that i have GR installed,,,,,,,,again, i gotta catch up on all these mods. But it looks great, the fog is awesome, and it will be funny how people kill eachother i think.

OK, i got into the gr server last night. it was good times, i played 2 games. Thx Priv. B. Thats worked. i can't believe i didn't think of that. I might be using it just to get more online play in.

I don't get anything when it's first released, too pricey and too many bugs.
When these cards become more common in the market place the 9800's and the 5900's will drop in price and are already tested.
thats good advice. i'll have to keep that in mind if i ever upgarde.

Good news! You don't need Ubi.com for any reason to play online.
In fact, if you are playing via direct IP (like the GR.net server) you're probably better off without the Ubi.com service.
You're already set.
hhhhhmmmm....cause i've tryed to connect to it several time and it doesn't connect.....and the IPs are there all the time, they do'nt change ot the names etc. if u know waht i mean.
ediT: I'd like to get on ubi ne ways if possible.

tryed it already and just tryed it again, nope, btw, i'm only asking this cause i'm prety sure you need it to play online at all right? cause i just want to play on the dedi pretty much.

i got the ubi is already insatlled message. i just re-instlled gr, ds nd it. i did registry clean and it still doesn't work. help
