I have purchased GR Gold Edition, and have Island Thunder and Desert Siege installed (running v1.4).

I have just finished both expansion packs, and am hungry for more. Enter the mods, buta few questions first.

1) To what directory/where do I install them to?

2) Do I just activate them from the mods screen in GR?

3) What are good mods to start with

- I particularly like sniper/stealth missions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So what you're saying is that I dont have to do mission 4 in elite mode to unlock the M-60 ? Thats just for the console versions?

Was having problems finding out what the 50 tasks were to unlock new weapons and such. The search function didn't help.

Am running GR:Gold Edition on PC.

I hope I am posting this in the correct forum.

I just purchased the Ghost Recon Gold Edition PC edition ( includes Island Thunder and Desert Siege expansion packs) . While skimming through some forums, there are alot of mods for GR out there. It is stated in a few forums that you need v1.4 to run most of the mods. While at the main start-up screen in GR, it says it is version 1.0.

My question: Where/how can you find the update to take v1.0 to 1.4 and is it even necessary?

512 non-ECC RAM
