That's awesome. The silence in between the battle cry and the "OMG he just ran in..." is hilarious.

What are the bumps in the rug from?

I will personally vouch for the advice about waiting to buy hardware. I bought my 6800GT ASAP, and it cost me $75 over MSRP. Today, the same card can be found for $300... that's a savings of over $175 just by waiting a couple of more months. Makes me sick to even think about it, especially since I'm going to try and jump on a R520 or GTX once they hit shelves...

I was with one of my friends, Britt, in his riced out Celica when he beat a Firebird WS6... almost beat him off the line but not enough torque.
Anyhow, my old Tundra smoked most of the cars in our school parking lot.
I love V8 power.

I bought the LG L1780U Black 17" 12ms LCD Monitor today at Best Buy. (However, it on the box it says 8ms response time...)
WOW! This monitor is stellar. No ghosting in my games, the picture quality is amazing, and all the controls (contrast, brightness, power etc) are all controlled by heat from your finger.
Can't recommend this 17" LCD enough. Well worth the money.

That must me nice.
Once Battlefield 2 is released, there wont be much use for any of the other games on my PC.

I graduated yesterday, so of course the parental units/family wants to know what I want. For some reason they didnt like the idea of a ram air hood and cold air intake on my car, making it even faster...

So, I guess I'll go with a laptop. I want to keep the price under $1,800, but under $1,700 would be even better. Requirements are at least 512MB of RAM, a 40+ Gig HDD that runs at 7,200 RPMs, not Celeron or Sempron crap. I also dont want a monitor over 15.4" and good battery life would be nice. (2+ hours.) So, does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm looking at this. My Best Buy is offering a $250 MIR so I consider this a hot deal.

Just replacing the tires (not rims, yet) will make your Bronco look better.
*shutters* Ugh, white-walls...

P.S. - Get some ATR or PT 5% on those back windows, then smoke the front.

2005 Chevy Silverado... black of course. The only thing I've added to her is some dual exhaust MagnaFlows. Soon to come are rims and tires, a 3/4 or 3/5 drop and the installation of the sound system that's sitting under my bed.
Then of couse comes the new bumper cover and perhaps some side skirts. And as always there's the slew of engine and tranny upgrades I've found...

Looks like it's a video card error... most likely because you dont even have one.

@firefly - I believe someone in Jackass was shot by one of the beanbags... it looked painful.

That was on hard... looks like I was a bit impatient.

DSL Reports speed test is confirming that my upload speed is now at 305 kbps, when it used to be a slow 128 kbps... is anyone else with SBC noticing faster upload speeds?
-
I agree that slower would be more realistic, but this is also a video game at the end of the day, and I think that if the movements were somewhat faster, I think it would make the game a bit more fun to play... but I still like it no matter what.

One thing to think about:
Since they're expanding into consoles and making them pay for the game, do you think PC gamers are next in line to shell out some cash? It has been a long, good run...
