  1. I will personally vouch for the advice about waiting to buy hardware. I bought my 6800GT ASAP, and it cost me $75 over MSRP. Today, the same card can be found for $300... that's a savings of over $175 just by waiting a couple of more months. Makes me sick to even think about it, especially since I'm going to try and jump on a R520 or GTX once they hit shelves... :x

  2. Screw it. I decided to toss in a few hundred bucks on my end and will be receiving this shortly:

  3. I graduated yesterday, so of course the parental units/family wants to know what I want. For some reason they didnt like the idea of a ram air hood and cold air intake on my car, making it even faster...

So, I guess I'll go with a laptop. I want to keep the price under $1,800, but under $1,700 would be even better. Requirements are at least 512MB of RAM, a 40+ Gig HDD that runs at 7,200 RPMs, not Celeron or Sempron crap. I also dont want a monitor over 15.4" and good battery life would be nice. (2+ hours.) So, does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm looking at this. My Best Buy is offering a $250 MIR so I consider this a hot deal.

  4. 2005 Chevy Silverado... black of course. The only thing I've added to her is some dual exhaust MagnaFlows. Soon to come are rims and tires, a 3/4 or 3/5 drop and the installation of the sound system that's sitting under my bed.

Then of couse comes the new bumper cover and perhaps some side skirts. And as always there's the slew of engine and tranny upgrades I've found...
