SeaSonic's are great PSUs and some of the quietest, behind Nexus of course. I would go with a 3000+ myself, as it all but assured you will overclock to and past 3500+ levels, saving money.

Looks like regular GR... but then I get hints of RvSh when I look at the wrists. -

I have a gig of RAM and BF2 runs fine. (Fine if you mean somewhat long load times, and about 45 seconds to quit the game and start using your PC for other needs.) I read on another forum of a guy playing with only 256MB of RAM. If I were you, I'd go with the RAM, and start saving for PCI-Express.

That hurt to read. Oh well, might of worked out for the better.

You can get by on 200 texts? Holy crap! I have 500 with Verizon and I still managed to go over.

Wow, hold up. You took your PC in with a 9800, and when you got it back you know have a 9700 Pro? Slightly illegal without your permission I would assume... Maybe they have set the refresh rate too high for your monitor. Set it back to 60 and work your way up.

Might be an IRQ conflict? Check and see if you have a PCI card in the PCI directly underneath your AGP slot.

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1s... the best. They're also able to mount on your walls; problem solved. Linkage. I do recommend a soundcard though, as it will be an improvement in sound quality from onboard audio.

Maybe...but I don't trust that info enough to not watch it myself, as AMD's have always run hot, and I personally know of two Durons that turned to slag in this way. I'd like to hope it's true, since I have an AthlonXP 3000+, but I won't bet my mobo or CPU on the theory. ← I know for a fact mine will. I had ASUS Probe set to shut down the comp once a temp of 60C was reached. When I installed one of the many heatsink/fan combos I've been through, I forgot to plug it into a power source. And by the way, AMDs now run cooler than Intel... it's been proven many times.

I too had one of those "Oh crap..." moments when I received the game. Just for clarification, everyone's was on the back of the manual, right?

The content of the site has changed a lot recently. I remember when it was more focused on the ladies more than drunk guys jumping over bonfires.

It's so fun when you join/lead a squad of five others on comms. Today alone me and five other guys were on Bravo, and for about three hours straight (however many matches it was) we won the best squad for USMC. And who said this game is just run and gun?
-
I never even suggested to do it now.

Who here is willing to preoder GRAWWTFBBQ before we even get a hanful of facts?

Except for the fact it would take almost all your magazines to kill a tango at anything further away than 20 feet.

Zantar, mine was too actually. However, at 10:30 AM PST, I was holding my copy in my hands. Unfortunately I had to go to work a half hour later. Installing now.

OMG it shipped sometime today I think! Just checked EBGames and I have a FedEx tracking number. Can't wait, I'm starting to get good... today I got 60+ kills in one round, first place for the USMC.

You're system isn't all that bad, and in some areas better than mine, and I play BF2 at high settings. My suggestion is to get a gig of PC3200/DDR400 RAM, dual channel if your mobo supports it, then a nice 7200RPM SATA HDD. After that, start saving money for a total system over haul.

Here's a couple: I'm surprised by how few people have actually seen the movie. Anyhow, it's my favorite.

I've updated my sig accordingly.

The only way that it will increase frames is if you're running off of a poorly designed on-board sound card/chip. Be careful as to what you read from THG... but if that's a possibility, sweet!

Compressed air is usually what I use.

Your first born child. At least $900, and I'm thinking that will be on the low side. People are speculating they will do 3.4 on air... average.
