Karkland is my favorite map hands down. I love the action of it, especially the beginning where you know where both sides will be comming from... absolute chaos on a 64-man server. I think I'm already getting board with the game though. There's no variation in it.

I'd wait untill the hardware is actually released to the public. There aren't any tangible numbers there. IMO CrossFire will end up being better.

That has yet to be seen. I dont know whether I'll buy it or not, but I'm going to be open minded when the demo is released.

I've always thought about getting one of those... for water of course. Yeah, nice shades. Mine were a lot more expensive and almost look the same.

Question: When unlocking weapons, is it every 1000 points or every promotion?

Haven't played in ages... think I've missed a patch or two. IIRC, I was at 63 or 64.

The GTX will be a waste on any monitor <19". Dont skimp on your monitor with a beast like the GTX. Oh well, within six months your list will be completely different anyhow.

Putting together a PC is like playing with expensive Legos. One you get your pieces laid out, it's really easy to see what goes where. Grey is right though. You need to be careful when it comes to CPU and HSF installation. I just installed a Thermalright XP-90 a few minutes ago... a bit harder than a Zalman 7000.

In six month prices will have dropped and newer parts will be out that will be better at or around the same price. I guess what I'm trying to say is, dont count on wanting this same stuff in at least half a year.

My only advise is for THX certified speakers. My 2.1's blow my old Logitech 5.1s out of the water. But they do come with a price tag... I say go for the DAGF. It looks to be like a friendlier version of the high-end parts. If you get nervous, I suggest an EPoX EP-9NPA Ultra or MSI K8N Neo4.

Not to sure about that particular mobo, but DFI puts out great tweaker boards. However, I ordered the DFI LanParty UT nF4-D. I spent three days trying to get my PC to install WinXP. Different bios's, 1T/2T settings, overclocking, underclocking, adjusting RAM timings, and I could not get the sucker to work. I'm on an EPoX nF4 Ultra board and not looking back. Stick with your 3200+ Venice and buy an X800XT or 6800GT/Ultra. (On NCIX I saw an Ultra cheaper than a GT... sweet!) As I've said, the Venice/San Diego cores can overclock like a dream. That's why I went with a 3700+ San Diego,

For a gaming computer, your graphics card should be the center piece, followed by CPU, then memory and mobo. Put the money towards an X800XT if you like ATi, or a 6800GT/Ultra if you prefer nVidia.

Simply put, AMD gets more done in one clock cycle than Intel, so it doesnt need to have an insane amount of speed to be faster than Intel. Edit - And my case $119 USD... so what ever that is in CDN?

Here's mine. It's also available in silver, black and yellow. All aluminum, with a beautiful paint job. It also has the removable mobo tray. I've never used one before, but I'll never go back unless the case is a full tower. What about this? Couldn't find it on NCIX though. There's also a version without the window if you're not into the case rice. Have you looked at eBay?

Maybe it's just me, but it looks like Ghost Recon 1 just with better textures...
