Um... I already have SuSE installed. How about dual booting? The only way I know how to boot into SuSE is to mess with my IDE cables.
-
Why not just calibrate it and assign the buttons from the game? The first time you start up NASCAR 03 it'll walk you through everything.

The problem was I had no program that could properly open up an ISO file, so I did my best with WinRAR, and wasted two blank CDs. I found my CD with WinISO on it and voila, a working CD. I now how SuSE on my Western Digital drive. Wow... it looks so cool. Reminds a little of Apple's stuff. Anyhow, my main problem is not being able to get onto the net.

Google and dictionary.com spell it differently, but it's a real word. Clicky.

I've only got one CD drive supa. I'm redownloading the file again.

Here's a good one: I have my BIOS set to boot from the CDROM, and that's it. I burned the files onto the CD using Nero, and now it wont startup up the installation.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh... so this is why the website is fedora.redhat.com Sorry, couldn't resist a bit of sarcasm. I'm downloading SuSE right now, looks as if it'll finish around 12:30AM... I'll be well past asleep. Looks like a long day of downloading tomorrow. Thank you for the help... I'm sure I'll run into problems.

Can it run off the HDD? If so it'll be between SuSE9.1 and Fedora3.

DS and IT will be required to use the mod. ← This is a sad day for me then. I lost those CDs. I was keeping the installation on my computer just so I could download and play the DYNACOMP mod. I recently purchased a new hard drive and, once you said DYNACOMP was scratched, basically, I formatted my old hard drive with DS and IT installed. Looks like my GR days are numbered for good. Shame too, I wondered how my 6800GT would take such a detailed mod.

More or less, a simple question: I'm going to use my old hard drive to play around with Linux. I know they're tons of versions out there, but I would like one that installs itself onto the HDD, so you dont need the CD in the drive all the time. I was going to use SuSE or Red Hat, but looking at their sites, it looks as if they only give you a 30 day trial. I would like the version to be easy to setup and get online, and maybe install a game or two on it. So, for the question, which Linux distro should I download?

You never played DF2 then. I'm still trying to get used to shooting without lag.
-
Great news. I forgot, is DS and IT required to use DYNACOMP?

Coca-cola is NOT candy its like the best drink in the world ← I cant help but respond with a oneliner, even though the thread died a few months ago. Reading comprehension is a wonderful tool.

Sounds like this post belongs in the War Journal. -
If you already have a 9200SE, I would save my money and get a GF4 Ti, even though it doesnt have DX9 support, it's still better. If you're running on a TNT, I would go ahead and pick up a 9200 whatever, if that's your only option.

I finally won something... yay! I'll make sure to put my award on my fridge.

And you're thinking this because... Games today use the extra memory, especiallyif it's using a 256 bit memory, makes things go faster.

Rocky, are you trying your hand at Flash?

Pearl Harbor was good... if you dont mind fastforwarding through most of it. Band of Brothers is the greatest.

I would say update and see. The 66.93's work very nicely for my card.
-
I assume you're using the 66.93's that you found. Do you use nView?

I dont have a problem with grenade launchers, just make a restricted option for MP.

It's a smidge off topic, but is there a way to change your Live! name?

Those are actually some of the better motherboards to get. I've read they come stacked with overclocking options.
