I ended up beating the entire mission without saving. I killed 33 Russian troops while protecting the embassy and lost 4 ghosts. So kill death ratio was 8 enemies killed for each Ghost lost. Only two Ghosts survived. Will installing 1.4 cause me to have to restart the mod all over again? This is my primary concern. I'm getting far into the mod and don't want to restart all over again after updating to 1.4.

The next mission after the embassy mission is fine. Able to save and load with no problems. However, there is another issue. When I run out of rockets I'm unable to get more, even after going to the base tent as instructed in the game. I hear the clicking sound as if I'm being given new rockets, but no rockets actually show up in my inventory. I did update to the latest Zapad patch, so I'm not sure what is causing this. But without rockets I cannot beat this mission.

I patched the mod to version 1.1. The problem starts when I save the mission, and the try to load it. The game will crash each time I try to load a save game. It works fine so long as I don't try to save. Here is my log file, I have not updated to 1.4 yet but don't think that is the cause of the problem because I beat other mods on 1.3.5:

Update - I'm playing the second mission, which takes place outdoors with lots of trees and there is very little lag. I beat the first mission on the DEA mod and the lag stopped once I got inside the building. It seems like the lag depends on the map you're playing and where you are on the map. Certain areas lag while others are smooth.

Its been a while since I played the Original GR. I played IT and DS about a year ago and I completed both. The lag seems to depend on the map, on some maps it is worse than others. I recently completed the "Clear and Present Danger 2" mod and some maps were okay and others were a hassle. Maps with lots of trees and buildings in the background tend to slow down the computer when you look in the direction of the trees and other objects, and then when you look away to an area that has few objects, the game speeds up to a normal 60 fps.

If I look at the sky or look at the ground the game runs ultra smooth. The moment I start looking in the direction of buildings, trees, or other objects, the frame rate plummets. How do I get the same smooth frame rate that I get when looking at the sky and ground when looking at buildings, trees and other objects?

I just installed the GR mod "DEA's Most Wanted," and its working. The trouble is, it is lagging bad, which makes no sense because I'm running this 14 year old game on a Alienware laptop I just bought a few years ago. Should be running GR at 60 frames per second, instead the game is lagging so bad I can barely move and shoot. Below are my Dxdiag setting. I turned down the graphic settings but to have to do that on a 14 year old game is ridiculous, even GRAW 1 and 2 runs smoother on this machine. What I notice is that when I start looking in the direction of trees and building the game lags and when I look in places without lots of objects like buildings/trees the frame rate speeds up. Also why must I run GR with integrated graphics card rather than my Nvidia Geforce card?

This computer runs Ghost Recon Phantoms, and Splinter Cell Blacklist with no issues. For it to have problems with the original Ghost Recon is insane.
