  1. to me it seems all the classes have their own individual strengths.. I play 2 engineers, 1 with the ucav and 1 with the sentry, and I also play the scout, regarding your gun, the best advice I could give you is to know which map the sniper rifle works well with and which maps you should use the LMG, overpass and underground are great examples of maps that don't suit long range sniping well, and your'e not helping out the team much by using attempting it, for instance on overpass only the unskilled use the main street for cover or to hide…all the action is in the hallways, same goes for underground…everybody hits the side-rooms, use an overgassed lmg and yes you may find your kill count go up. Thermal plus the OTR(a must have and great way to score extra xp) work excellent. many times have i ran into someone close up and got shot but youll notice many times that person who downed you goes down right after you do, well with the otr you get 200xp, thats 50 more than if you would have gotten for a kill behind cover…xp even when you die! not too shabby. Scouts provide great intel if you choose the stun mine, that 200 xp just for the stun and 500 more if you get the data hack, it also provides a slight deterrent to enemies that use the routes provided that enable them to get behind your team, which is a tactic that many like to use to get their kill count up, try it out on harbor and youll see what I mean, you can easily put up more intel than the engineer class on a good run. The only aspect I shied away from was the augmented camo…there are only so many maps and player memorization of those maps comes to everyone eventually, and when pixels that you are used to seeing dont look the way they are supposed too it catches your eye. I based my choice for the stun mine against augmented camo purely upon the number of times I noticed the strange set of player shaped textures trying to slowly crouch walk from spot to spot an shot them…it didnt seem all that valuable. so In my opinion I consider the Scout to be extremely versatile, with stun mines theres no need to stalk an enemy just for the data hack, which frees up your secondary for an emp or explosive launcher for taking down equipment , and still leaves open your grenade slot for smoke, which as said before in these forums works well with a gun equipped with thermal…someone who posted here somewhere else was right…people get sloppy on the other side of the smokescreen, and you can be there to benefit from that with thermal. my scout seems to play best when i move cover to cover, everybody gets flanked at some point or another, but its hard to press up towards an overgassed lmg. the bad rap to me comes from players who are sickened by 3 out of their six team members sitting up on the overpass watching the streets, don't get me wrong, im not a big fan either because on that map the alleys get so much action. hell I dont even see the point of one scout being up there, i don't need the protection from the other teams snipers because i hit the alleys fast like most of the others. save the rifles for maps with range,learn to use an lmg , and give us scouts a good rep.

A) if the UAV is on the move, that means the Engineer is parked somewhere,not firing at anybody, not throwing sensors at the front line where they are most valuable, and not doing much to help with objectives... basically a living spawn point... if you can find them, its an easy stun and data hack most of the time. B)It's a moving UAV and hard to shoot...use the Noob tube with the EMP rounds, easy as pie to knock down, EMP grenades work as well, just little bit harder to hit. C) Jammer makes the UAV useless as stated before, and having 2 lvl 50 engineers under my belt (1 UCAV and 1 Sentry Gun) I can say that you can take some satisfaction that it annoys the hell out of the Engineer when you knock it down or Jam it...after all, that's a big factor in his match XP and process of leveling up, And yes the worst is piloting it and getting data hacked. D) Sentry Guns Chew up UAV's E) If the UAV is stationary, he basically parked it and is on the move, in that case just shoot it down, its stationary after all. F) regarding the UCAV its a one trick pony, 6 frag rounds and it takes 3 to kill, the blast it makes is very distinctive and there is a slight pause before each launch so yes, you have to scatter, comes with 2 emp rounds but after that it's nothing, doesn't detect or mark... your only fear should be if the ENG. with the UCAV is in a team up with a Rifleman with ammo boxes equipped (which in my opinion a lot of Riflemen dont drop a whole lot of). Quick matches with randoms atm are still very selfish and havent evolved to a solid teamwork playstyle, how many times have you been wounded and in cover next to a teammate and not been healed? the incentive is there, that's 500 quick xp for him. situations may arrive where he is under fire and can't let his guard down to do it, but we all know of a moment when no one was around and someone just passed you by and ignored the heal. Understand that Intel is king in this game, a data hack against your team can make it down right hard to cap an objective and costs your team dearly, same with the UAV and the Sensor. Not posting because of my time spent as an engineer and touting the strength of the class, just posting my observations. my experiences with quick matches with randoms are pretty easy to dissect, no intel equals a match lost most of the time...but not always. a team with too many scouts parked up on the overpass spawn trying to snipe the street almost always loses. Currently liking my lvl 31 scout, very utilitarian, snipe on mill and harbor, bring an SMG to underground and sandstorm, pack smoke grenades (I use a Thermal scope) and an emp launcher...watck the kill information, no sentry kills or UCAV showing up, switch to the noob tube, i don't use it cuz it's easy to spam, I use it when a rifleman knows what class im playing and I'm stuck pinned down and he starts to move on me with no fear because he can drop me before I can drop him... thats when the noob tube evens things out a little bit, not always, but sometimes.

Hello, looking to play with a better quality of player, adults only who don't get the old blood pressure up when they lose, my stats are as follows: Gamertag: xMED1CATEDx Average playtime: 20+ hours a week Mic: Turtle beach Console: xbox 360 Class: 2 Engineers, 1 at 50 with UCAV, Field Computer, the other at 44 with the Sentry gun and drone. Not always at the top of the kill charts, the sentry goes down behind the team to keep us from getting run at from behind, The UCAV is for popping turrets and taking down snipers. not a lone wolf...ill take the occasional shot at a tase and data hack if I see the opporutunity, but I dont strafe the map looking to get ambushed and data hacked myself. on a crap team I don't do so hot, on a great team my intel and ability to hold a position goes way up. on objectives I interact and displace away from the location, not looking to get frag grenaded, and to keep a safe respawn for reinforcements. I cant snipe worth a lick, and I haven't sunk any real time into the Rifleman.
