  1. What OS was used for it (Client and Server)?
  2. Go to www.google.com and search for Radeon 9000 Tweaks I guarantee u will have enough pages to read on all day. They range from Overclocking to the best Drivers to use to the ideal settings for the card. And I have no way of knowing how much u know about computers. I was asking which type of tweaking u were talking about and if u dont know what type because u are not too pc literate then google is your best friend.
  3. That mobo is really common and well built. IIRC some members here have it too. Do u have a case that can support the many PCI slots and AGP slot that u want (i.e. a full server tower case).
  4. Okay that should handle it long as its a decent mfr.
  5. Does anybody here know much about terminal services? Beware I am gonna want to ask a lotta questions...
  6. By tweak do u mean AA and ansio settings or drivers or overclocking?
  7. If it doesn't work for some reason maybe u could mail it to phantom as he offered and he could try to hook it up as a slave/whatever his other idea/s were/are since u understandably dont wanna hook it up to another computer.
  8. Crimson nailed it. What about ur power supply? How much wattage is it puttin out?
  9. I know...because the mfr's GB is different then the common GB. Diff between 1000MB and 1024MB IIRC. The thing is that he said he had 2 60GB hdd's but one is an 80 and the other is a 60 Yeah Ruin pop in the XP cd and go into the recovery console then try the fixmbr command. Oh and yes as phantom said taking it to a pro will cost u upwards of $300 depending on how "professional" u want.
  10. MBR is the master boot record. If u insert the XP CD and then go to the "recovery console" have it list the commands for u but I think there is a "fixmbr" command u can type in to rewrite it. And you can say that u now have a 60GB and 80GB hdd
  11. I'm curious though if they are both 60GB drives, then something is even more wack cause that second one (C: "Spankin New") is 76.32GB and that is an 80GB hdd no chance at all it could be anthing else... I know it ain't the problematic D: drive but I figured u would wanna know that u have an 80GB and 60GB HDD.
  12. Its a good action packed movie. And whats this about them not reloading? I saw Will Smith change his magazine....once
  13. HOLY ****. Your D:\ drive is empty lol just realized that. Man there is nothing there. It is a 60GB drive but that other drive "Spankin New" is an 80GB drive not no 60GB. Did u try running checkdisk (cmd prompt chkdsk) on the D:\ drive?
  14. Ok then. The IC7-E is cheap and performs great but if u want to spend extra $ for features the Asus P4C800 is the king.
  15. Restore Point may or may not help u. If u didnt do anything but turn it on and it started being stupid then it shouldn't but it couldn't hurt since u can revert back. Disk Management is accessed like this: Right Click "My Computer" then click management. Finally go to "Disk Management" and voila.
  16. Have u tried putting it into another computer as the slave and trying to read the data on it? Did u just come home and it was like this or were u doing anything on it?
  17. You aren't going to use the full potential of PC3500 ram unless you are going to overclock. PC3200 (400MHz) is the highest any current mobo supports (depending on which one) and some cpus w/o the 200Mhz FSB can't even utilize that. Tell us your mobo and we can help ya some more. I use Kingsotn HyperX PC3500 ram and its OC's/helps me OC very nicely.
  18. Are u going to overclock? If so the IC7-G or IC7-E (diff is gigabit ethernet and then just 100mbit) they rule. The IS7 series isn't as good as the IC7 series (canterwood appears to perform much better). And the P4C800 is a great mobo. What it lacks in OC'ability it makes up for in features and stability.
  19. gspot is what I live by. Hours of trouble and crap b4 I had it then after I got it things were easy. If u have trouble with sound ever make sure to have the AC3 sound codec (gave me lots o' trouble b4 gspot and its really common).
  20. Got it here too. XVID is good too and compresses multimedia more but I love 'em both.
  21. Okay...I thought that roadrunner looked familiar to it. I love that huge ###### spoiler on the back lol. Sit the kids up there on the way to the park.
  22. Its good and light, Linux and Windows compatible and I like it. But make sure it's mozilla firebird .6 not just mozilla (bloated version).
  23. It is as simple as placing a wire man. But if the computer is under warranty dont fiddle with it since u could end up losing ur warranty and damage ur computer. Fresh start from here guys lets all move on.
