Okay, those are the only 2 in depth courses at my high school but at this other Special facility (that I will go to for networking) they may have C++. But that is where I will do networking. There are prerequisites for the admin class and this is how I have to take it. I am not eligible till grade 11 or 12 (I will start in 11). I am currently in 9th though so 10th could if it was worth a hoot be spent in those prgrmng classes (sounds like not though). But I have to take Computer Repair which should be easier then heck, then I can take Intro or Basic Networking whatever they call it but beginne

Somebody care to explain why my computer will freeze up or load non high end apps very slow when I have over 300MB of RAM free? And no other parts of box are being fully utillized either. Thanks

Thanks Bob, I think I will take that advice. Would you guys still reccommend me take Basic and Pascal in High School, or should I just completly focus on Networking? If you think it would be a waste of time then spare me but if not then heh.

Well unless something odd happened to your PSU then it is fine. Antec is a great mfr so I think maybe we are looking at a diff prob. But your prob is like that of a PSU problem...wierd. Do you have another PSU that you can switch in?

That all sounds great. I kinda forgot that the FBI would need net admins and all that too lol. But when I get back home to my super computer, Porsche 911 GT2 and all the other amenities I think I will be happy (If I choose that). Computer Scientist...what is that Ruin? Like a forensics expert or more of an Anti Hacker profession?

hehe Ruin u and I have the same aspirations *sp. I currently work at an Insurance place doing odd end jobs like filing and boring stuff but the people are nice. Come Feb when I turn 15 I am gonna work at Price Chopper (grocer).

@Zero, sound neat man I am jealous still in stupid High School . GL in your career though! @RooK, I never have done what most people would call programming. I have done a little but not enough to really tell if I like it or not. I kinda think that I would be in the same sit ofd not be able really to look through 100's of lines of code for a single mistake. What I know about Networking, which is more than I do about prgrming, I like. I just don't know if in the "real" world or "adult" world it is a lot different. Are network admins ussually called in the middle of the night to fix a prob?

LMAO, okay sounds to me like you are having a PSU problem to then. GR isn't the prob I am gonna bet. How many watts is your PSU, and who made it?

This is the time for me to basically choose which comp career I will attempt to excel in. I have 2 pretty good options though. I want to know which you guys think would be the best for me. 1. Programming: College Pascal & Basic Programming 2. Networking, I would take a more basic network class then followed by an advanced one. I know this is only high school but it would be nice to know now so I could start building on that. Thanks for your help guys/gals.

What other prgrms were running? Have you added any new Hardware? What did you do on the 13th?

I don't get why they don't do ports for every XBOX game then. I mean they would make a profit not a whole lot maybe but at least some...I would just hope that they would do some refining.

Havok, run LiveUpdate for your Norton prgrm and then scan the whole system for any viruses or such. And listen to the other guys too, just cause Norton may not find anything doesn't mean that it ain't there. I would look into Shields Up also.

Well I am pretty damn ######. My Intel cheapo integrated gfx worked better then my new stupid MX440. I had to turn EVERYTHING down to the lowest possible setting and it works fine now but man I am pretty ######. Rockstar needs to rethink their games and work out the bugs! Thanks guys

Okay last post for the night sorry but it has been awhile and off and on that I have been able to chat. So last Q is does anybody know of a good Encrpytion/Password prgrm that is free? IMESH is giving me probs so I can't get the non freeware prgrms for the time being stupid Kazaa and their lack of prgrm support.Thanks for the assist

That is true unless the 9700 or 4600 system has an AMD and the other box has an Intel CPU then in that case the Intel would of course be superior. Okay no need to bring that back up hehe. Think about in 10 years all uor graphics cards will be pos. The newest top of the line card will be running over a GB by far and getting million on 3D Mark 2001 SE if compatiable of course. Kinda makes me feel small.

Well that has past, but I am satisfied with my purchase still. I just wish that crappy Intel pos would help me do something. I can use it if I go Dual monitors but I don't have the need for that it would be more a novelty. This is an extreme but a good analogy sp*. Just as an owner of a gunshop would sell you a gun they would not be responsible if you were to shoot somebody with that gun. Kazaa gives you the tool but they do not make you use it.

Yeah I got some Marks for ya Rookster, 5100 or 5200 3D Marks in 2001 SE and also 3000. I didn't change gfx options AFAIR but I have seen them both. Those are rounded to nearest hundred. I don't remember exact numbers. I am told that is actually pretty good for a PCI card.
