I want to know what do I need to OC a GF4MX440 safely and how far can it be pushed? I already have Heatsinks on it (3) and no really an option to put a fan on the side of the chips so it would have to be on the pokey side of the card. But any air rising up gets sucked out by my 5500 RPM fan with 119 CFM, how far could I push it?

Okay cool, I just get paranoid sorta cause nothing I get that says "fits this" of fits that ever fits. The RAM heat cover things that originally I was installing when I fried my box didn't fit my PC2100 DDR Ram, but of course it said it did. So just wanted to make sure b4 I spent the $80 or so bux. When I bought my "new" gfx card I grabbed a 350 Watt Antec Smart Blue PSU, which seems to work fine. I went to a site to check how much power I needed and even with the extra 2 fans in the case and assuming everything was being used at once I had nearly 80 Watts left over. But that case will support every mobo right? And I can take out the plate where stuff plugs into and replace it with the one that is on my Compaq case eh?

I know I will have to remove the backplate (is that called theI I/O place) thing where the cords plug into for my mobo to work. But am I right that any mobo will fit in there? It says "Accepts ATX, Micro ATX, Baby AT and AT motherboards" so I assume any mobo I have will fit into it. And I only have 1 CD-RW combo and 1 DVD-CD and 1 HDD oh and 1 Floppy too. So there should be no probs right? Oh and PSU is ATX.

Yeah I am for sure going to college. I had planned on CMSU because of their expert Criminal Justice Classes but if I go to a comp related field then...I don't really know hoe good CMSU is. I will have to ask around. I plan on living alone at this time. Sure I like the ladies and in fact got one right now, but I don't know if I for sure want to get married. Hmmm, I doubt my school would let me or anyone for that matter. Because if by accident we screwed up big time Insurance would proly not cover our mistakes or the Supervisor of the District would get ######. There are about 20 people on the IT team for our SD, and a lot of them are quiet and non really teach classes. The only time I could talk would be during a time when they came in to fix something. I will ask around when I get bakc on tuesday and see about it. Damn I should go to private school!

Okay I will get on to that soon as my defrag is done. My disk was 8% fragged but I figged what the heck. It is a Samsung HDD, and I will for sure look into that. I also noticed it mainly happens during the first 15 mins after my box has booted up. And all my programs from startup have alreday loaded though.

Okay that all helps a lot. Bob, you got a job at your school after 9th in the summer? How big was their network? I doubt I would be able to get that pretty strict peeps. What did you do? I run the game @1024x1280 IIRC (gr isn't working now and is uninstalled since I had a virus) but according to NVREFRESH I am at 75Hz, my lowest will dip down to about 30FPS but will shortly rise back up to about 60 or so.

I C, I knew about HTML and know some of it pretty well. But pascal never heard of b4. I can get 3DSMAX easy but I have used GMAX and it frustrates me. I may just need to try harder or something but I don't think I wold like it. The thing about netwroking to me is power I guess lol, I can control puters from all over the place and shut them down or whatever from one place. Just seems nifty to me I guess. But if I went for a career cause I wanted money then it would have to be in computers.

U can see my specs in my Sig. No matter what level I play I cannot breach 61FPS. And that is on ALL maps that I have tried. And since it is on all maps that makes me think that something is limiting me. Otherwise it would be different on diff maps. I have NVRefresh but no luck there far as I can tell. Any other ideas? This is with all settings at max cept resolution. thx for the help

I defrag every Saturday and right now my frag % is only 5... Which of these is the best defragger? Norton Speed Disk, Diskeeper, Standard WinXp Defragger or is there another one better? I have those other 3 but if they suck then...thanks Bob!
