That is what I found out.RAID 5 is multithreaded for both reads and writes because both normal data and parity data are distributed round-robin. This is one reason why RAID 5 offers better overall performance in server applications than either RAID 3 or 4. Random I/O benefits more from RAID 5 than does sequential I/O, and writes take a performance hit because of the parity calculations. RAID 5 is ideal for database applications. -

If you're gonna be a ricer, at least pick a decent looking/performing Japanses car, like the Skyline you mentioned, a Supra or even a RX-7.Plus, with the latter, you can see what kind of looks you get when you say you're car is powered by a wankel.

How are you gonna host 5GB of mods and still expect to 1. Keep your ISP 2. Stll have Bandwidth left and 3. Your a lot more open to hackers and way you put it. I don't get it.

Well replace the 800MHz AMD or the STABLE 300MHz celeron. Both suck but atleast the celeron is stable. I will try to grab the AMD box and OC the heck out of it so I can learn on it b4 applying to my rig.And I can get those CPU's cheap.

I think that sounds good go with onboard LAN nothing bad I have it and love it fine. About post count I could careless if it was there or not. Don't worry man, better to have quality relavant stuff than garbage everywhere. GL on your prob bro!

Never had a blue screen on my XP. It is way better than 98SE, crashes every day on it now. But if you can get that message prntscrn (if it doesn't shutdown) and you can find a number in the error I got a list that explains those. Not sure if it is that type though. GL!

The USB plugs into that plate I must not be understanding you. Cause it somes with that and all. Where are the other USB ports at? Are they in the back? Cause all that should matter is the plate? Or are some front on a card?

It doesn't appear when I browse for it. I know it is there and the ext is .theme so it makes no sense. I know what you mean but it just doesn't work. I am gonna try and add my own .theme to it manually and all.

Why would people care about post count really? So you can say I posted 1000 posts? I would just say well my hundred are quality. Anybody could come here and just post 50 times a day and say Hi, cool, good idea. Or that stuff.

Why are you gonna raid? What size is your current HDD? May be cheaper to go to best buy they will move all you stuff over then you can get a huge HDD and sell your old one. What RAID you gonna use?

Yeah it is I found where to put them but, even when the exts are .Theme and all neither Windows or Stlye XP finds them. And they are in the same place as the others. I figure oh well screw it. Not that important I will toy with it more later.

They do Email and Documnets work. My sister is the only prob she does some gaming like Sims and Empire Earth but that is as complicated as it gets and the TNT2 even handles that fine. I think my mom likes the Flat Monitor lmao, she likes that deal and whenever I bring up a new idea she mentions

Yeah, I thought that I wouldn't need any PCI slots really. My mobo has 4IIRC and it already had the one modem I think in it. Then came the new sound, the GF4 and the Slot fan. I have no more slots now and am kinda upset.
Why don't you want onboard LAN Ranger?
